The crying in BFA was that in order to PvP you had to do PvE content to get certain gear.
Now it is the complete reverse, in order to be good at PvE you have to PvP.
PvP has the ONLY “MEANINGFUL CHOICES” in gearing.
You either drive a stake in the heart of PvP gear or put a valor point system model into m+ loot where you need to get the base item and then can upgrade it.
There is nothing meaningful about loot in PvE at present. It is absurd that people are 226 ilvl purely from PvP while people who PvE are still struggling.
Something needs to be done to either nerf the absolute F%#K out of PvP gearing or buffing PvE gearing.
This isn’t meaningful.
This isn’t fun.
This is hours down the F$#king toilet for trash while watching PvPers gear up to the eyeballs.
I’m out unless there is meaningful change. I didn’t play this game to PvP.
You forcing me to do it to be anywhere near decent or competitive is a complete 180 on the problems with BFA PvP gearing.
PvP has conquest cap, the first few weeks its the slowest because the cap increases by 550 each week now that cap is 3850.
Also all PvP gear has vers, so unless vers is your best or 2nd best stat most people see it as a side grade.
Which is dependent on rating. need 1400 rating to upgrade your gear to 207 ilvl, 1600 for 213, 1800 for 220 etc.
No it means if I have 213 gear from PvP I now can’t use that gear for M+ since its worthless because of PvP power and I will have to go out of my way to refarm all my slots. Which means I will need to item restore old 200 pieces IF they are able to. Its just a mess.
They will have a weekly cap and cumulative just as PvP conquest is right now.
Meaning gearing would be as fast as PvP gearing for PvE.
They also need to buff PvE gear ilvl slightly.
The answer is not to nerf and destroy gearing in PvP which will make people miserable, rather the answer is to BUFF PvE gearing while keeping PvP the same.
