Actually yes. They found more player power in some other game, games built on the principle that rewarding people for time spent participating will encourage them to continue to participate. Kind of like wow used to be before they decided that was the wrong way to design games.

This is the kind of quality of life stuff they SHOULD be focusing on.
The game offered me the same shield 3 weeks in a row, after I had selected chosen it from the vault already.
If these guys were truly good at making games, this is the type of disappointment they would seek out and eliminate. The problem is that they operate on spreadsheets and statistical analysis that tells them it’s ok if thousands of players are unhappy about something, because those people are just numbers. All they see are “acceptable casualties” of their poorly devised and implemented systems.
Blizzard reward systems are becoming some of the worst entertainment delivery systems in the industry.
Imagine if video streaming services randomly removed segments of movies or TV shows in some pathetic effort to make the customers who received full products feel better about their luck.
Using fomo against some of your players in order to boost the satisfaction of other players is heinous game design at best. From a product delivery standpoint, when considering the customer satisfaction, it’s Russian Roulette and I’m of the opinion it’s hurting a lot more than they have the intelligence and wherewithal to recognize.

You act like you think you are getting paid for driving away paying customers. Does it seriously bother you having to live in a world where there are people who disagree with you and won’t take your word for it that you, as an anonymous stranger who is an internet troll, are by definition right, and everyone else in the world is wrong and should not be permitted to exist?

My wing 1 lfr clear on the alt who did this was planned for tokens to buy stuff off vendor lol.
She takes her determinism. 4 day weekend, 4 resets of pvp daily rewards…shooting for the conquest I need for the 220 conquest bow the goal lol.

…with a semi-automatic if the design doesn’t change. Diametrically opposed loot rewards and repeat drops shouldn’t be a thing.

Though the whole great vault thing is old news, since he usually posts to get some fire burning or to stir some pot. People have brought up the GV tonnes of time.
