about 9k watching
even assuming wow had 1M subs right now that’d be less than 1% of wow players think MDI is exciting enough to watch on release.
That’s like .15% of all slands buyers
and only 400 likes out of those 9000 watching (with churn)
is that typical that barely anyone watches this?
I see day one was 110k views which seems a bit better but still only 1.5% of all slands buyers
edit: added link to maybe help a little
edit 2: the announcers don’t seem to help the energy at all
edit 3: got sewing/crafts videos getting triple the views of MDI races. Is competitive M+ much smaller than most believe?
Nobody cares about wow esports lol.

Youtube does dirty on views.
If they were at Twitch it would go as high as 100k+
not true and also not relevant. i love m+ but the mdi isn’t super interesting to me. it’s also the nicest day of the year here so far, so I’ve been outside getting work done
Yeah that tends to happen when every single team has the exact same comps since blizzard can’t balance properly

Why would I want to watch the same people play the same race and the same class and the same specs running the same dungeons over and over? You know what that is? That’s insane. It’s also stupid.

If you are doing high keys, you would want to know how the best team is doing it. It adjusts our gameplay, strategy and routes.
Why would you expect noobs to watch MDI? They dont know whats going on.

Rofl, no it wouldn’t. The reason why they are on Youtube in the first place is because Twitch didn’t want to give them anymore money because views were so low lol.
Id rather watch people push the highest keys possible than to watch them push lower keys fast.
What kind of pathetic loser finds it fun to watch other people playing a game rather than play themselves…

Agree, I play with myself all the time.

hey now, ‘let’s play’ youtube videos are pretty popular - just not wow MDI
I watched it for the first time the other day but it’s mostly the same comps, kind of lame.
Dk, rogue, priest, hunter and warlock on repeat.
Anyway, arena championships are much more interesting than mythic dungeons esport, imo.
The channel doesn’t have subscription option on twitch.
I never tried watching it in the first place, I guess I think it would be boring to watch.
I could be wrong, so maybe I’ll give it a peep.
I’m adding a link to my top post, maybe that’ll help it a little
There is no WoW channel on Twitch.
Watching people “race” in a Mythic dungeon sounds as exciting as watching grass grow.
Actually–the grass would be more exciting.
Nobody cares about e-sports, except a small group of niche players. It’s not popular.
Also, the vast majority of players would actually much rather play the game than spend time watching others do it.
So…yeah. Viewership is low.
And also because it’s on Twitch. Not everyone uses that or has access to it.

I still wouldn’t watch it.
