I disagree. In some of the more competitive groups, the DPS is running as hard as they can and they ride that fine edge between ok and pulling aggro. Because of this MCP became a must have to Druids in these groups. They actually can be the best druid ever and still need it to keep pushing the envelope and hold back the DPS tide of aggro.
i dont think it gives 31% haste lol
only if you want to be like top tier cat dps, still can do decent without it. if played all out min max, cat powershifting dps is one of the hardest/most intense things to play in TBC.
Taken from every source on TBC haste:
15.8 rating grants 1% haste at lvl 70
MCP grants 500 haste rating in tbc. 500/15.8 = 31%

Sometimes I get a little intimidated and don’t know where to start.
Not sure if it was said or not but stats change from straight stat % allocation to ratings. This causes the MCP to not give a straight % gain in attack speed but instead give something like 500 haste rating. MCP is worthless because it would be a huge loss in attack power or other stats to use it for a very small haste rating gain.

I dont use mcp or wolfshead in classic for cat dps and I’m in a slow guild and parse 95+… takes us 3.5 hours to do naxx and the only deals I see that out dps me are in sub 2 hr guilds that have boss times that are substantially lower and our dps only gets lower as a fight gets longer so I would prolly 99 without either if those

You’re still mad about the forum vacation huh? Sorry but talking about people’s dead mothers probably has no place in the WOW forums so you had it coming. I know having to take ANY time away from the forums is a big hit for you but I hope, with time, you can get over your anger, move on, and stop following me to every thread.
