So I have a simple question or two depending on how you count.
Why does every PVP build I see (admittedly only on wowhead and icy veins since I dont know where else to look) have destro locks taking the Mayhem talent? I am focused mainly on solo shuffle success but I would think even in arenas like 3v3 that an AOE talent like Mayhem would be a poor investment compared to more single target talents no?
It’s because it’s great area of effect denial along with Bane of Havoc PvP talent. Mayhem will proc more times within a single Havoc cd window then you would with actual havoc. So you’re constantly getting bane of Havoc dropping which is great area denial. It also allows you to get more up time on your rolling Havoc if you’re running that talent. Mayhem with the Bane of Havoc PVP Talent synergy is a great quality of life that destruction needs.
Wait? Mayhem works with the bane of havoc talent?
I am looking at it right now and it says “requires havoc talent” and is colored in red seeming to indicate its inactive.
I thought you could only use it if you chose the other talent not mayhem
