Like the above question stated. I have been searching and messing with the settings for weeks trying to change my picture from the wow logo to my in game avatar . I know you have to log in and out to update your level, but That doesn’t magically change my photo. I just can’t seem to find the answer anywhere. Be it the forums or google on how to make my question happen. Hopefully this will help a few other people too.

click on it and display a different character.
top-right. bottom of drop-down is “change character”.

IDK, these forums haven’t updated this Avatar since forever. I’ve even logged into this character, recently, still hasn’t properly updated the Avatar. And, I’ve switched it out and logged out, several times. Nope, still displays the outfit she hasn’t worn in ages LOL

If you haven’t tried it, log completely out of the forums and then log back in. They don’t always seem to refresh without that.
This might be obvious, but did you actually find where you select new avatar pics from or is that part of what you’re looking for, because you don’t say either way.
Are you trying to use a custom picture or Blizzard’s template selection?
Im just trying to have my troll, like most people have there avatars all I can do I select him no option to change the photo
Forum avatars haven’t updated for a while now, I dunno what’s up with it, but I’ve been logging out in fashion gear for like a month.

This character transferred to the RP server & name changed in the process & now appears as the WoW Icon. All my other characters look months out of date on their forum avatars. Just another case of Blizzard doing the bare minimum with Classic & its related resources, & not bothering to fix broken/glitched stuff.
Sounds like it not on my end then, guess I can’t join the cool kid avatar club
