Now that the servers are up I can get to the characters selection screen but when I click login it just hangs ther on the loading screen
I’m having similar issues also. First char I logged in wouldn’t load and then after about a minute said server down. Choose a 2nd char and was able to get into the game but it won’t port to another area so I’m stuck in my class hall.
I am also getting this error on two separate characters.
If it makes a difference, they are both in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
Same here. Loading screen deaths since the server resets today.

Am i logging out in some bad spot? i did a wow repair last week. i got a new pc 2 weeks ago so it’s actually a fresh install as well. Wondering what im doing wrong that my toon wont load only after reset. i try later on and it works after a couple hours but not sure whats up. anything i can do?

It’s got to be another after-reset problem again. I’m experiencing this too.

it only gets stuck on my dh but just saw the world server is down notice. other weeks previous i havent gotten ws down notice though. so wierd
anyone else having problems getting stuck in loading screen after reset?

Yes. I try to log in and it either gives me an infinite loading screen or the old fashioned “A character with that name already exists” error.

I’ve tried across multiple realms and multiple characters and I get the same outcome, that being the loading screen bar reaches 100% but never transitions from that to game-play mode.
When closing the client, restarting, and attempting to login as that character again, I get the “A character with that name already exists” message.
