Hello everyone. I currently have a 60 mage and will soon have a 60 priest on my other account. I was wondering if any of you have any tips on maximizing GP/h with this combination. Currently have max engineering and tailoring in both, but considering dropping tailoring for herbalism and mining. Thanks !
EDIT: To clarify , my priest is on a second account meaning the two can play together. I don’t multibox, more so alt tabbing

Tailoring is good, don’t drop. Enchanting to DE compliments it.
Best GPH for you is aoe farming. Your class sucks at gathering, don’t do gathering. ZF aoe farm undead dudes.
Yes both not good at gathering, low gold per hour. You can aoe farm like god as mage though, best money there. Play your strength.
Best gathering classes are hunter, Druid. Next tier which is far behind is warlock rogue… mage is not good at gathering (no speed, pet, avoid).
I run DM E Lashers + Herbalism on my mage, great gold. I only do the lashers + the 1 or 2 invis guys as I find the satyr packs too hard. Bonus I’ve gotten 4 epic staffs worth 100g ea and a freezing band I sold for 800. Lots of greens worth 1-5g and the lasher roots etc. Sell the dreamfoil+gromsblood on ah.
I use an alt to reset the dungeon. Google an instance lockout timer weakaura. It will warn you when your going to cap. I could run it endlessly without locking. Going to sell once in a while. Set hearth to Feathermoon if alliance and horde one if your horde.
With a priest you can easily do the satyr packs + bosses and even mine the rich thorium veins at the end. Be pretty awesome.
Gathering + Aoe farm is the best. (DM E+Herb). Dropped tailoring the second I got Robe of the Archmage.
It’s a real feast or famine kinda thing, but aoe lvling/ farming as a mage is exciting and makes money.
I pick up so much stuff every pull that I don’t notice some blue boes til later. And then you can always get a 150g recipe.
Make the mage an enchanter for the de mats (ah them with no deposit)
Make the priest herb/alch. Even with out a flask recipe you can make smart money
