Spell distance is 30 usually. As a vision impaired person this is bad. I know that it’s set to 20 for pvp and hiding behind objects but the original “nameplate” text is always a blur to me so at least having it become legible beyond 20 yards would help vision impaired without having to use a nameplate wall-breaking addon. I can’t tell who is hitting me beyond 20 yards. Now if you don’t want to help vision impaired people I can understand that debate and sympathize but I don’t see why name text cant be made a better and more legible font especially beyond 20. My two cents. If you think ity’s too game breaking i can respect that but at some point it will be a deal breaker for me and I do love some pvp, or i did love it when I could see better. If it’s just my problem then maybe i’ll accept it but i need to get this said in the way I wanted to say it.

In the options you can change the name text size under Accessibility>Minimum Character Name Size

I will try that. I think that it’s just something that I need to dine tune in an addon. The truth is I get blurred vision increasingly after a couple hours and it might be something i will figure out. Thank you though. A new video card so I can maximize sharpness might do the trick.
It was dropped down to 20 during Vanilla Classic to nerf the Spy addon.
Instead of just breaking Spy, Blizz chose to break the game.

it’s an old topic. They should really update it to 41 yards.
