I’m new to mythic+ and mythic as a whole . I was wondering when the stats of mythic+ items cap out. I heard +10 was best for the chest, but I didn’t hear about the individual items. Could you,in theory, get to like mythic 500 and have a weapon you could use for the next expansions,or does it max out at 15

Short answer is it maxes out at 15. Every level above that just give more gear in the chest but not better gear
End of week chest maxes out at 475 ilvl (+15). End of dungeon maxes out at 465 ilvl (+14). Titan residuum from the weekly chest keeps increasing, idk if there’s a cap but +24 gives more than a +25 so practically it keeps going up.
The amount of loot you get from an m+ also changes. So +2 to +15 give 3 items to the group if timed, or 2 items if depleted. Each level above 15 gives an additional 40% chance of an item, so if you depleted a +21 you’d get: 3 base, -1 for depleting, +40%*6 = +240% resulting in a total of 4 items 60% of the time and 5 items 40% of the time
