Max # of demons you've had out?

I am new to warlock (I’m 88) and I love after a big fight when I have like 7 demons still following me… THE SQUAD. :stuck_out_tongue:

I looked through the talents and I think that with the right talents and enough haste, a demonology warlock can manage to have 11-14 demons out at the same time. (14 only if you manage to get 6 imps which is hard since they go away so fast)

  • Main Demon
  • Demonic Tyrant
  • 2 hell puppies
  • 3 or 6 imps
  • felguard from talent
  • vilefiend from talent
  • that big eyeball (pvp talent)
  • fel lord (pvp talent)

Has anyone actually done this? Just for giggles? Haha. What’s the max amount of demons you’ve had out at one time?

You can easily have 12+ imps out once you get the haste and a few lucky Soul Conduit procs. Plus all of your demons’ timers/energy is frozen for the duration of tyrant, so you can get a pretty sizable army going. Usually at max level though you’re taking talents/armor traits that buff your tyrant and your haste by sacrificing imps, so it doesn’t get too out of hand most of the time.

I must get to max lvl IMMEDIATELY. I want an ARMY OF IMPS to go into battle with me!!! I would’ve named my warlock Azmodan if I knew this was going to be possible >:D

If you just want to have fun, then also go with Memory of Lucid Dreams as the major combined with Soul Conduit. It reminds me of the numbers the imp mothers had swarming around them on the Broken Shore and Argus.

when pre-nerf VOP was first released on PTR i think i maxed out around like 21-24 imps

I’ve got up to 23 imps out using Demonic Tyrant and procs for soul shards from Azerite gear. Followed this up with imp explosion… game over!
