Because that’s how skinning works. And scraps are used for something - their AH price is pretty good (compared to vendor).
If we’d just get good skin from every mob - leather would cost nothing (and even now price on rare drops is very low)
ok well i just read the update for tue anyhow.
knothide leather going to .008% chance and clefthoof leather to .002% rest just various amounts of scraps. Due to oversupply.
