Max 80 renown via comp stomp?

Is it possible or is there a max amount of renown before 80 that it will stop?

Think it’s possible but once you get so high it becomes rare to get 1. Got 1 at 74 yesterday after like 7-8wins

Pretty sure it stops at 78 making you do the Weekly/Anima quest for the last two renown.

If you’re asking if there’s a blue post describing it, no idea.

Just personal experience. I started doing brawls at 62 renown all the way up to 78 renown. Noticed I wasn’t getting the last two after 8 comp stomps so I just did the weekly to finish it off.

What is Comp Stomp and how often do you get a renown level from it?

So i switched covenant on patch day then bought that 40 renown boost from the token vendor. After that, i spammed comp stomp and have gotten nothing thus far. :man_shrugging: Anyone else have any luck with comp stomp?

i went fron 36 to 78 comp stomp and im stuck at 78

You need to do the weekly jailer and 1k anima weekly. You can’t get the last two levels otherwise unless it’s from the weekly souls I believe. My bud was stuck at 78 all week doing stuff and couldn’t get the last two levels.

I got my last 2 renown this week from Torghast. So that’s an option as well. Level 9 did it for me.

I just hit 80 on my Mage from doing Comp Stomp. Haven’t touched any of the chapters yet, but I did do the weekly quests this week. Most of it came from doing Comp Stomp though and it took awhile for the last 2, but it is possible.

Can you do comp stomp at lower levels too like say level 30ish?

I did 25 Torghast layer 12s and got 24 renown. With callings etc. I got to 78. Did a +15 got 79, did another +15 did not get 80. Did x6 random heroics got 3 total.

Moral of the story: Torg best way to grind if you just want to do solo content + you have something srsly wrong with you to the point of doing Soulforges 25 times in a row

As a experiment I did Adament halls 10 times to see if there was an undocumented change to allow more than 1 Death-Bound shard to drop per week since rest of Torg is farmable but one only dropped on the first run as before.

I think he’s right. Both my Hunter and Priest stopped at 78.

I went from 71 to 80 tonight, 78, 79, and 80 were 1000 anima/assault/korth weekly but the first 6 were comp stomp, took like 10 or 11 to get 6 renown
