Mastery Stacking on Sub Rogue just feels wrong

As the title states I find having to stack mastery very annoying because without it we do even less dmg but in order to get more we have to give up haste which’s makes us run out of energy a lot. I really wish each spec was taken into consideration when it came to stats and that it wasn’t such a blanket method. If you play Assassination then having haste or mastery is amazing. Since haste affect how fast your dots tick and gives you energy while mastery affect how much dmg each tick does. Its insane that even with 74% mastery (in PvP) I still feel like I hit like a wet noddle outside of secret tech. But even tech is not hitting as hard as it used to.

Haste is basically useless as sub. Full mastery is the way to go, but even with it our evis is still hitting for 30% of what a mortal strike does

Exactly i hate that evis is basically worthless only thing worse then evis on sub rogue is slice and dice

Yep the spec is C tier in shuffle at best, only good at stomping noobs that’s why you see people complaining it’s OP

I feel forced to have to play Assassination rogue if i wanna do dmg. I just hate being a melee shadow priest x.x and having 1 vanish

Night elves don’t get to complain about that.

Shoo

I have fun as sub on my alt rogue, I think I’m 2k in shuffle by just messing around.

I like to use the shadow dam build that gives us big evis/rupture so we have more sustained damage and our burst window is longer rather than just ramping up for a big secret technique. I actually think top sub rogues stopped going the CDR vanish side of the tree in favor of the bigger finishers
