Is this ability bugged? I use it quite often in arenas, and I notice that a good portion of the time it goes on CD but it doesn’t remove any movement impairing affects, or make me immune to any such affects for 4 seconds. It does work here and there but there are plenty of times when it doesn’t.
Is there something I’m missing about the ability? For example, I was just playing against a Disc/WW, my pet was less than 10 yards away, I used Master’s Call and it went on CD but my pet did not rush to me and I remained moving at what felt like 30% movement speed. (The disc was CC’d on behind a pillar, the monk was on top of me, and my pet was no CC’D)
It still might have been possible it honestly went on your disc
Not really sure though, like you said your pet didn’t move so not completely sure, I’ve had MC’s bug in the past but not really in the way you’re saying, but I remember it could have been where if the pet was in CC and you somehow got master’s call off it would be possible for it to go off CD but no effect which is honestly possible to have happened here
This used to happen though when master’s call was a hunter ability and not a pet ability, only thing I can really think of

I got to thinking today that I might have made a mouseover macro for master’s call and I haven’t been able to check yet. Im wondering if what is happening is i have my mouse hovering over my petcare bar and using Master’s Call on itself. Is that even possible? I’ll have to check tomorrow morning. Its been happening quite often lately and I’m convinced I broke it somehow. Haha. I’ll update tomorrow morning with what I find. Thanks for the response.

So, I just got on to check this out, and my Master’s Call is not a macro. I noticed a few things, however, the times is goes on CD but nothing happens is sporadic. I can not figure out what the conditions are that cause it to happen with the exception of one. If a the pet is LoS’d, Master’s Call goes on cooldown 100% of the time but the pet does not rush to you and you do not gain the Master’s Call buff nor is speed reduction removed.
But, in several of the cases I have had this go on CD but not remove slows or roots, the pet was within sight and not CCd. Think I’ll report this as a bug because I’m sure it’s not intentional under any situation.
