Master's Call not working. Any hunters having this issue?

I hate to make the topic here, but didn’t get any responses elsewhere and am trying to figure out what’s going on.

Anytime I’m in combat, master’s call isn’t working. It goes on CD, but doesn’t remove slows or give me any immunity. The pet comes to me as if it’s going to give me the buff, but does nothing. I’m using the same macro I have used for a decade.

Any ideas or am I missing something?

Edit: Guess it’s a thing. ugg.

Also, did I miss something with the forums? Can’t search any longer? Lost Trust level 3?

The heck is going on?

I tried that and unfortunately didn’t work for me :frowning:

Appreciated though. Everything is fine out of combat. In combat, nothing working.

:person_shrugging: works fine for my BM friend.

Yea, I see some folks saying it’s working for them. I’m not sure if it’s situational. One thing I do notice is that if the pet has ANY kind of slow on it, it’s not working. It’s almost like if the pet can’t immediately connect with you it just goes on CD.

I’ll try it again.

Dismiss and resummon pet every time you phase into PvP and then reload. If it’s still bugged after that you have to relog.

Pets do get in a randomly bugged state where intimidation and masters call don’t work when you swap specs back and forth. It happens a lot if you are queued as one spec but playing the other and get auto changed when you go into the PvP instance.

Will try. Thanks!

Interesting. Have had no issues with intimidation. That said, I only play SV and don’t change my talents often if ever.

Sometimes after you dismiss and resummon, the ability is still greyed out but does actually work.

Yea, that’s why I have always had.

Hrm. I’ll drag it on to my bar just to keep an eye on it.

It’s not a macro thing. You can get the spells into this state and try to press them from the spell book and it still doesn’t work.

It has to do with masters call being something that your pet does with command pet as bm/sv and a spell that the npc eagle does for marks now. The same thing happens to intimidation as well.

It is bugged.

The weird thing is it only happens in combat. Totally fine otherwise.

strange retesting it now it doesn’t work. it was working last week with those macros though… self freedom works for him though.

they cooked something now, pet sac doesnt work for him either on party members.

nvm he was horde - I was alliance. when we swapped back to both alliance this is the testing we did:

Macro Spec In Combat working?

Anecdotal but I notice it happening less after changing pet specs away from then back to cunning.

oof well i hope it gets fixed

Very, very weird. You know, I haven’t paid attention to sac at all and I’m thinking that’s bugged as well.

Seems like dismissing worked. Appreciated. Looks like I have todo that every time.

Smol indie company.

Marks takes the shared damage component of ros now as well. Or 20% more damage if you use it on yourself.

Wut fam? lol! Really?

Unless they’ve fixed it without saying anything very recently

Haven’t had any issues on my MM Hunter.
