just curious i know its not hard to obtain too much now but why are we still paying 5k gold for Master Riding skill to get 310% speed?

Well with the WoW token now allowing Blizzard to profit from Gold, any amount of gold sink is in their best interest.

Also remember that Mounts are additive.

So its not actually 310%, its +310% Flying and +100% Ground.

Also, considering that even in BfA, getting gold is still pretty easy. I haven’t tried to make gold lately, and I just finished levelling a new toon, complete with Master Riding. My gold total across my toons changed so little that I really didn’t even notice the difference.

For new players, yeah, it hurts. But for established players, its pretty much a non-issue for most.
