Ohhhh. Yeah good point, maybe Blizzard actually intended this to be a feature…?
hahah oh ya, this was all part of their master plan. Those genius b@stards
Every time there’s a stutter even in most remote area, there is always at least 1 player passing by! #Feature
Played about an hour last night and experienced no stutters. First time in months I have got more than 20 minutes in before experiencing it. It’s also the first time in months I have been able to log on reset day though.
Val is still a sh*t show though. Drop from 140 to 60-80. But it feels more like 30. Real choppy if I fly around. It’s much better if I stay grounded in the city.
I hope WoW will get DLAA to increase GPU usage, sitting at 40% in Valdrakken and 45fps, pretty sad.
Thats awesome it works for you. Yet, sucks playing with no sound… I can understand with raiding and doing keys… Sound is important.
I tried the no sound thing… Didn’t work for me
Nope.
Yeah, we all know it’s not the hardware… Plus I have been speaking with higher up of my OEM… And they really don’t think this is a hardware issue… Sounds like a client issue. But they still gonna do their best to help.
Speaking of which since talking to oem I told them what the Blizz IT specialist said… And brought up the year ago driver update. They have been helpful. I am sending them everything I sent Blizz and testing for them to send to their tech to see if they can help in any way They told me they would do what they could to help.
@Pharazon you were on point. I got ahold of someone who really cares and is higher up
That’s good there helping on there end just that much quicker to a fix. I do miss playing cause I will want to come back since ret paly is getting a revamp and that’s been my main since shadowlands.
92k on the thread now, and they are still as blind and deaf and obtuse as ever.
I think they are in some backroom bet with microsoft and comcast on who can be the most obtuse and abusive to the customer base and still get new subs.
God I miss Aaliyah.
Anyway, has anyone checked 10.0.7 on PTR? I am being told stuttering is worse there.
It runs worse, but can’t judge a PTR as there’s always problems on there.
makes sense. ty!
Hopefully… Plus, they are in the knowing of this issue and can make updates for their products.
Edit: I know it has just been almost 3 weeks ago I spoke to Blizz IT Support… Alot of you have been dealing with this live since the prepatch. And it seems to get worse…
I hear you on this… I miss playing on a more stable game… No stutters… No crazy fps drops…
Val I have from 29-55fps… Sitting at 50%… to max 60% GPU usage… Dragon Isle is just a mess and honestly would be fun minus all this mess. Heck, the whole game would be fun if it was optimized.
Edit: My laptop got very hot even with the cooler in DF territory only in open world max I saw was 70%-80% of GPU. Val usage was stated above.
GPU temps stayed under 65 I believe. And CPU got up to high 80’s even with fans maxed and cooler maxed in DF area ESPECIALLY VAL. Normal CPU stays at 75 max and even stays in the high 60’s outside of DF areas Val.
CPU usage stayed at 20%-30% usage I believe.
I swear the stutters get even worse when it’s players from foreign servers (like South American or OCE servers) zoning in around you.
It’s also markedly worse in battlegrounds, when you’re on one of their servers. It’s not just that you have to deal with the higher latency, but the stutters are worse. It’s the same if you get zoned into an arena on an OCE player’s server.
Anyone hear of “Artificial Latency”? Its use on game platforms to even out the fairness of games when there are multiple countries playing. Ive seen continuous complaints of severe loss of Framerates, and latency.
I notice this when Brazil players are playing.
Ive seen blues comment literally saying they dont see complaints.
Still stutters, how’s everyone doing?
My feet hurt but they still run better than this game.
What do you mean by stutters? I’m having a rubber banding effect not sure if it’s the same.
