Right now all Flightstones have been wiped and there are no visible sources that give any. No treasure chest, no rare, no world quest etc. If you want to get the full appearances from DF crafted gear you need a good amount of sparks to craft all of these. You can still collect fragments of these sparks but you can not transform them into complete sparks without flightstones.

Lots of things stopped dropping in Dragonflight, including other currencies that were tied to Seasons. They might start dropping again on September 10th when TWW season starts.
As an alternative, allow the upgrade currency vendor to exchange this-season upgrade tokens for prior seasons’ so that you can do the outdated upgrades for transmog. (This would work well with Blizzard’s design philosophy of making the user choose between two mutually exclusive goals, since the tokens you use for transmog would deny you upgrades in current gear. Totally on-brand for Blizzard.)
Or maybe just sell outdated transmogs directly.
