No idea why but I get MASSIVE MS(World) when I’m near the raid group in Manaforge LFRs this morning. I never had issues with it late last night. When I’m with the raid groups in the LFRs my MS spikes at over 20000 with a 30 sec delay on abilities. This does not effect me though after I release and am running back. WTF is going on?
edit: this was ONLY in Manaforge LFR and not in other raid LFRs
I’m running into a similar issue but Normal Manaforge, currently have ~6k world latency. I’ve restarted my PC and router, and when I leave the raid my latency drops back down to it’s normal value.

I suspect it might be ISP related. I’m also on Bell Fiber, and just had to limp through an unplayably lagging m+ run. Fine outside of the dungeon.
Everyone else in my group was fine, discord was fine, nothing else seems to be problematic.
Yeah both m+ and raid seem to be affected. If I had to venture a guess, I’d think packet throttling somewhere. It seems like it happens when lots of player events were happening. When I did a m+, it was close to fine on bosses, but when AoEing packs it shot up to 1-2 second delays on abilities.
(note for the reading impaired - this is latency, not framerate. My framerate is a locked 60. It is ability delay / input lag)
I am on Bell Fibe as well, my ping is high to A52 > 150, and Antonidas ~100 as well.
Obviously 100-200 isn’t terrible, but that’s just standing in Dorn, it goes up exponentially if I go into a raid
I was looking at reports in the Halifax area and notices some people having issues.
Same issue here, Bell Fibe, on MacOS.
Also seeing latency issue within D4 on Console
I’m on Bell Fibe in Bridgewater and I’m getting 500+ MS in M+ even though my speed test came back ok.
This reminds of the issue we had last year sorta. but it was constantly doing security checks
Worst lag ever in Normal Manaforge. Bell Fibre as well outside HRM NS.
Lagging 15-30 seconds from when raid lead announced the mechanic and when it shown on screen. Unable to cast. Even having turned raid graphics to 1, turning off all mods and outside programs.
World ms was spiking over 2900
Even after restarting modem and PC I still had the yellow connectivity under the menu icon just sitting in Dorn.
seems to be steady atm, haven’t had any issues in a few hrs
Yeah I was running some trace tests overnight and it seems like it went back to normal around 2am, no problems now.
You guys are likely just being sharded from US East->OCE or OCE->US East. Though there might be some bad hops here and there dropping packets.
i’m on spectrum cable net and having that problem with world late in same raid to sense it came out it comes and gose.
Noticing really bad latency in LFR today. 700-900ms and lag spikes up to 30+ seconds.
I’m on Comcast but haven’t run a trace to see what other carriers I’m passing through to the wow servers.
