Massive fps issue

Specs:
RTX 2080 Super
AMD FX-6300
32gb Ram

My set up is by no means updated - probably more along the lines of ancient, so my running performance isn’t perfect, but it’s completely playable.

I’ve just logged in for the first time after 2 weeks or so, and I can’t even move around in Donogol above 1FPS, give or take. It becomes slightly eased outside in the world like Kalimdor or something, but it feels completely wrong.

I run no addons, updated all my drivers, defrags etc. Restarted the PC a couple of times and set all the graphics to lowest possible but the issue reamins. I’ve not experienced this issue at all since the expansion released up until I logged in today.

Any advice?

I believe this CPU may fall below the minimum requirements for The War Within. The AMD requirements are a 3.0Ghz “AMD Ryzen™ Zen” or higher. That doesn’t mean you can’t run the game, but Blizzard won’t provide support for making the game work better on your setup. Additionally, with each update/patch, you may run into an issue preventing your CPU from running the game at all.
