So just after reset here. Uldum dailies are now awarding 250 coalescing visions and 125 rep. The vision daily went up to 1500 Coalescing. Is this a sneak change?

I just noticed that In the vale of eternal blossoms, and came to check here what was up.
Dailies got buffed.
50 visions toward 10k was way too low.
They changed it.

Interesting. If anybody can be bothered testing and reporting, it would be useful to see if other sources of CVs also got a change (eg random chests, relic chests, “crossed sword” puzzle events, and of course the main sources minor visions and assaults).
I ask mostly because the old numbers seemed balanced to give basically 3 Vessels a week if you were thorough, with such a boost for dailies it might be closer to 4. I wonder if they might also have to nudge the cap on CVs (25k) up a little too so people don’t bump into it too fast.

I wouldn’t say “massive” but yea very welcome change for once. This is what happens when complaints outnumber the white knights…
I may not be too thrilled with this patch overall, but I have to give credit where it is due. Thank you, dev team. It might not make the system perfect still, but both the rep and currency buffs are very much appreciated.

The forum is a vocal minority.
If all people care about is the cloak, then doing the dailies in the zone wasn’t worth it at all. Likely the number of folks not doing the dailies outside of the major/minor assaults and lesser vision spoke volumes more than the forum.
Still though, our opinions probably did factor into the decision a bit. Maybe not a lot, but a bit. But yeah, I’d guess their hard data is what told them what they needed to know for the most part. I know I haven’t bothered with the dailies since that Goliath Trophy one a few days ago, and even before that I wasn’t touching them much. I was just killing my rares, doing my daily vision, completing the assaults and leaving to do other things.
Caelia, I wasn’t implying that the only complaints or negative reactions came from the forum. I agree with your assessment of dailies…

I have no doubt that a large part of players were doing that. I know a good chunk of my guild is doing exactly that, and most of them probably don’t know how to get to the forum. ;p
I guess it was just the usage of “white knight” since that’s primarily a forum thing. At least, I don’t ever see it used in game with near the frequency it is here.

Good for those that are doing it.
But for me it is still a hard pass. No thanks!
