Players are encouraging others to report players who don’t allow the Horde to capture all objective in Arathi Basin to lose as fast as possible under the pretense of “blocking team progress”.
This is so backwards that I decided to make a forum post to try to shed some light on the situation.
This is happening due to the Marks of Honor turn-in quests rewarding 7,500 honor and players receiving 2 instead of 1 from Arathi Basin and Warsong Gulch. I haven’t even seen an Alterac Valley match in the queue.
Players are actually out here saying “report x-y-z” for capturing a single flag. Season of Discovery players have hit a new low.
i posted this a few minutes ago, i didn’t even think about them reporting you for it, that’s so world of warcraft it makes my head hurt, any alliance that actually want to play can’t because if they do, they’ll get spam reported, insane.
This is exactly right, I’ve had people telling me I will die of cancer just cause I want to actually pvp and not be a bot just running around waiting to lose to get easy honor. It’s so backwards, it is wild
If you are capping as an alliance you are a troll. Especially after knowing what the current meta is. You are indeed blocking peoples progress. Go play a different version of the game if its really an issue for you.
my guess is people who are pvping right now either want the mounts or want the weapons are are just capping each phase so they have less work when weapons are available … i hope the juice is worth the squeeze
well yeah, but for people who enjoy these bgs it isnt even worth playing so idk. I doubt there are very few true bg enjoyers playing sod because the player behavior in sod vs even something like era are vastly different.
If this is the way bgs are now, who cares if they eliminate 80% of people playing to lose by removing literally every point of honor for a loss?
Just increase the honor of wins by 500% Hell increase it by 1000
You do realize there is many many months of this seasonal game? You can take your time actually PvPing and get the gear you want. Also if you don’t have enough time, there is always PvE where you set up a time and do it
the masses have spoken that instant gratification trumps all and they will report people for blocking that dopamine hit from 5-6 min games idk … my guess is wait 4 maybe 5 weeks and things will be back to ‘normal’
sad but true, gotta let the brainless bots get their way and hopefully things will be back to normal when Blizz finds a fix. Until then the bots will be geared and won’t queue anymore to any ABs
