Killing bots will get you mass reported from the botters. Boosting RFC will get you mass reported for simply advertising it. Recruiting for a GDKP will get you mass reported. Premades are getting mass reported from other premades or pugs who dont want to lose.
WTF happened to the classic wow player base? Why so many people rounding up witch hunts in trade/lookingforgroup chat? Who are you people, because this has never been an issue in classic/wrath/som/classic era. And how tf are bots getting people banned with mass report and not being banned themselves?
Boosting, gdkp and premades are not against TOS. I have seen people whirl trade/lookingforgroup chat into a frenzy with all sorts of false claims about these groups and getting them mass reported.
Blizzard please stop this behavior or revamp the mass report algorithm. And for anyone doing this crap, remember that this is a part of the classic game and you may not like premades/gdkp/boosting but they have been here a very long time. As far as bots go I guess we cant even pvp them anymore? Like wtf!? Please Blizzard, address these issues.

I don’t know. People have alts and exta gold at level cap and players enjoy boosting for extra gold. Has never been an issue in classic until now. So many new players/tourist inSoD who dont understand its a part of the game. Absolutely toxic and has no place in classic.
IMO the GDKP should not be a thing in classic SoD until final phase, and boosting depends on the process they are using like the fly hack, your stance on premades i agree with cause its a group formed by players that arent violating any rules and are having fun together as friends, guildies or even a pug.
While i find being boosted fairly contemptible I dont see how its bannable, its not like they’re cheating.

Are you advertising it in a channel other than trade? I report boosting in LFG just so it gets muted without having to add them to my ignore list. Otherwise I’d never be able to read LFG chat for actually, you know, looking for a group.

Boosting can mean so many things, it could involve RMT which a chinese botter takes the account and levels for you (bannable), a player power leveling you ( Legit ),
just because the option is there doesnt mean you are reporting for the right reason.
Nobody is getting banned for it. What is likely happening is people are getting chat silenced for spamming it in channels where it’s not allowed, like LFG chat.

i personally think that if someone or a whole mass reports someone and it comes up as a false report all those that reported the guy should get the punishment instead.

Why is this being done here but not in era/wrath? Mass reporting witch hunts for non tos activities is toxic asf.
Account locks and monetary fines to open them. This is a preventative measure that also generates income for real people to be hired to monitor in-game reports, bottings, and other actionable items.

tbh maybe this will help dial back the absurd amount of premades. Im so tired of starting a premade and just ez street stomping everyone. Premades need to face ONLY other premades

Even if it did happen, the obvious solution would be to stop PvPing or camping bots.

We do have a lot of people who can’t type “lfg wsg premade” before they queue for graveyard camping so who knows lol

premades are not bad, if they hacking or botting its one thing but thats not the case, people come together (real players) to put together a pre made group, if the other team loses that just means they arent as good. premades are nothing special ive seen them lose many times against random player ques.
basically what im saying quit being salty cause you lose to a premade, its a game, its just pixles. its like saying man guild runs for raids are so bad cause they 1 shot it every times compared to a pug group. man uninstall the game.
