Can we get some attention on this? I was just banned for what im assuming was me not rushing to RH to wait and see if horde wipe before pulling drek.
How is this a bannable offense for PvPing in a BG ?! Every game im usually mid and sometimes make my way to the blender to wrap up WMs tho games are typically done shortly after.
So the issue is the “rush south” people get mad, report report report and people are getting bans left and right. I get it if you’re sitting in the cave every game but damn.

4 of my guildies just got a 2 week suspension for fighting mid or trying to get kills in AV instead of rushing commanders/lieutenants. I really hope they can get this reversed

People are abusing Blizzards AI to get people banned with mass reporting. The Anniversary AI for banning is way overtuned currently.

Well all that says is you were suspended for either not participating in PvP or exploiting in PvP.
If you swear that you were not AFK, that means they thought you were exploiting. Unless you’re saying Blizzard is lying when they look at the logs and see that you did not damage or healing for multiple AVs in a row, which is kind of what the bar is for getting actioned for being AFK in AV?

I’m sorry you work for blizzard? you know for a fact that’s how it works? cause id disagree. The report system is automated. Say a dozen reports maybe 2 triggers the automated ban. You than take the ban or appeal and appeal and appeal. You get it overturned or are told to stop appealing its over and further action may result in further actions. I know this from experience and I’m taking it that you have none on this matter based on your statement so you’re either trolling or just dented. Also when dozens of people who are fighting mid, including as far south as IBGY aka “WM blender spot”, are banned at roughly the same time I’m gonna have to call bs on your logic.
The issue is people are mad on both sides. Horde say “van or ban” and cry about alliance fighting mid almost worse than then the alliance themselves. So fighting mid and having HKs along with KBs is now grounds for being AFK ? gotcha.

Blizzard has gone on record, many times before, confirming that bans are not automated.
The reality is a lot of people violate the EULA in a variety of ways, including communication violations, AFKing in BGs, etc.

Seen roughly 30 people eat bans in the past few weeks… Some where gold buyers, but most where popped for av mass reports.
Guarding a tower? Reported
Talking in chat how you need more people to rush van to end the game? TOXIC Reported.
To many people by balinda? Mass reported
Backfill into the game or just respawn in the cave? Definite afker reported
mention that there should be a 5-10 man group killing LTs? Reported
The irony is that I had a TON OF GAMES last week where people would run to van then sit there afk while the npc zerg before van was being handled, or even when alliance recallers where recapping aid station.

Think its botters? Or people just manually running and thinking “nobody will notice, game ends in 6 minutes” lol. Alliance have the same @ “boostie hill” but mainly just auto attack WMs @ IBGY than onto whereever their pathing takes em
Definitely “no one will notice” people just waiting for an all in call…
Running past them telling in all caps to stop being afk and help with aid station (literally within 30 yards) can snap typically half of them back to the game. But again talking on game is a great way to get banned now too as soon as someone gets triggered, they report

they should put out a pie chart to let us know what amount of banned accounts are from av versus rmt vs spamming bad words in trade
