This is why I always communicate if a particular affix needs special attention before starting, or I leave right before I waste any more time and only realize it when its becoming a failure in the middle of the run.
How would you know?
At best, if action was taken you’ll just get a form reply that basically says “you know what you did, penalty stands”
It’s less toxic to grind to Gladiator than it is to get KSH this season. Let that settle in. (As a healer)

Really tempted to report players for verbal abuse after they send me messages since I bricked and left the key. Can’t time, no reason to stick around. Doesn’t even matter if I messed it up.
Seems like the very vocal very minority of cryers got blizzard to add a way to karen report key leavers recently as this is the 2nd posting this week about it.
Reality is simple.
Dont swear or threaten or lash out, just release and exit/leave the group.
If they attack with wispers, right click and ignore
Open group tool and queue for the next.
When you get a “reported” msg, simply ignore as long as you did nothing against the ToS.
Before a key begins, I make sure group has at least 1 person who can help and is talented into the dispel
If I leave a key, it’s because of a situation like yours. I’ve seen someone have a talent to help and still never actually help.
This weeks key success depends on someone helping the healer. Healing is too stressful as is, we can’t be expected to deal with 2 spawns on top of everything else.
It shouldn’t be where people can mass report you for leaving the key, if they did their job and they key went smoother then there wouldn’t have been a reason to leave.
Nobody should be held hostage or forced to play in a situation where it isn’t a) fun b) successful and c) team work

Had a person leave a timeable key this week after the third boss. Was just strange, maybe he had something come up irl.
I did checked them and they all had cleanse selected as talent but none pressed and for now all I got were angry whispers and threats of ban from those people.
I am going to be honest here… doing +23-24 keys is way easyer and enjoyable than +17-18s. Everyone knows what to do in high keys and in low its just a clown fiesta.

Think the only solution is always report their whispers. I’ve had to this week. I think the angry rage whispers are far more toxic and against the social contract then simply leaving the key

They all whispered me saying that they reported me, thats it
I stand in stuff and die sometimes. And so do others. Only doing 21s at the moment though.
Long as you aren’t actioned against, people can report for anything they want.
The real issue is if punishment was taken against you, because that would immediately make me never do M+ again if we got punished for leaving bad groups
So no actual evidence it happened? And no actual consequences?
Mmm. Ok.

Did you get an in game warning, a chat silence, do you know it was because you left and not for how you asked? Because we literally just had someone in here the other day claiming they didn’t use any bad language and come to find out they used an acronym for swearing at people.

Nothing will happen to you, as long as you were not rude when you were asking for help/leaving. Anything that can even remotely be construed as rude could potentially get you in trouble, but not the leaving itself. You can leave any run you want, as long as you are not clearly intentionally ruining someone’s key.
