I think that may happen anyway.
I also suspect that the real reason they removed the ability to use other software to mbox is because bots were using it and putting stress on the game engine.
That’s why I think they removed it. I could be wrong though.
If I’m correct, that means they don’t see the value in getting a new, upgraded game engine for this game and so it will most likely dwindle.
Imagine going to all the trouble just to cheat in a video game.
It’s not cheating, that’s why multiboxing is still allowed 
Profit is profitable. Don’t bite hand completey. But I believe they will mostly cut back to 5 accounts.
Just need one and clone the keys via hardware.
Imiagine thinking that doing something within the game rules is cheating.
The lazy ones will stop or try to push it until they get banned or warned.
The stubborn ones will find other solutions that will eventually be banned by ToS as well and we’ll have a repeat of this situation again.

If your caught on a truebox server and a get reported they will ban you. I know because I caught somebody camping a valuable named cheating on truebox and reported it to a GM. While they didn’t tell me what they did to the player they did respond they would take action (I had screenshots showing everything). I added the names to my friend list and never saw them again after that.
It was very rare to see people trying to get around it on Truebox servers because players are more than happy to report cheaters.
I understand what you say, but can you explain the 2 groups camping the Frost giants 24x7 on Mangler for the first few months of the servers? We reported them several times, the GMs said then they reached out the MBer always responded to their in game tell so there was nothing they could do.
You can still see the complaints on the official forums. Daybreak did nothing.
Option 3 for sure. These people don’t even know how to play this game on one account. They always have terrible gear and are almost always terrible players. They just take advantage of the fact that 25 of any instant-cast damage spell hurts.
These folks couldn’t play a class with more than a 1 button rotation. Feel free to check any of them out on Twitch. Atrocious players.
they are just old boomers who aren’t capable of pressing buttons or doing anything meaningful in the game. their gameplay revolves around borderline botting to farm mounts they want, or reach gold cap multiple times over. they dont even have the decency or skill to be a fair casual player. thankfully wow is saved in 2021 and literally everyone will report them because its now a bannable offense. :3
Yep. I only know one multiboxer and he got several refunds for SL. Which sucks because I was looking forward to playing with them when the xpac released.
You can’t get banned for multiboxing.
