Blizzard is a big enough company, that has been running these servers/games long enough to have a better system in place. The issue persisting this long is unacceptable.

my character has been “online” since 7pm and im still logged in whenever my buddy logs in even tho im offline completely please blizz

10/10 blizz. Stuff like this that is allowed to go on for this amount of time is why your customers have no faith in you.

Yep. Grobbulus player here. My orc deathknight, Tyrrael, has been having that error for hours.
Able to play all my other characters. Just not the one that experienced the crash.

Game is good. Same issue on Skyfury since around 630 pst Prat-Skyfury.

It has been 5 hours, still no server restart or anything.

Same issue here, stuck for over 6 hours now. Even reset my UI which is a pita. Opened a GM ticket, hopefully will hear back soon!

I have been unable to access my character for 12 hours now. I was really hoping to play the character I have spent days of play time on for release. But I guess not.

Blizzard, could you please acknowledge that you at least know of this issue and are working on it? This is an extremely frustrating issue for users to have while remaining completely in the dark, especially right before a big release.

If this isn’t worthy of an emergency server reset, I don’t know what is. Less than 24 hours until Wrath launch and hundreds if not thousands of people can’t log into their main characters to finalize preparation. Please do something.

last night i was flying to eastern plaguelands and the game lagged and got stuck so i closed the game after a few mins. and like 10 hrs later still says even after troubleshooting steps on forums says a character with that name already exists. i can still get into others. but my main is locked out.
