Been disconnecting everyday for last 5 days, hundreds do at the same time, no matter what region you are from. Everyone who plays hardcore knows about this issue. If you submit a ticket - support is a bot that sends you to troubleshooting page like the problem is 100% on players end - it is not. Now weekly maintenance broke something and people are unable to log into the game. After they fix it, will dc`s stop? Will it be safe to play not being terrified of dc middle fight ? WHERE LITERALY NO INFO ABOUT THIS FROM DEVS AND WHEN THIS BS WILL BE RESOLVED. 0 RESPECT FROM BLIZZARD TO PAYING CUSTOMERS. SAD.
Maybe we’ve been getting DDOS’d for days, and it’s all coming to a head today after maintenance.
So there haven’t been any real issues that I have noticed on the servers in weeks, so if you have been having disconnection issues for the last week, its almost assuredly your computer or network having the problem, and there really isn’t much Blizzard can do about that.
Thank god i haven’t experienced that. Hopefully i didn’t curse myself here.
No I don’t think so. I have seen 30 or more people DC in guild at the same time. That’s a server issue.
If the servers are actually unstable, Blizzard brings them down until they fix the problem, we have seen this. So if you really have been having problems for a week, that points towards your computer and your internet. Additionally coming here to complain on the HC forum is worthless, the dev’s don’t look at this forum, and you will want to submit a ticket if you truly want help.
Assuming you submit a ticket, you would need to provide detailed information to Blizzard about when you have had issues date/time including timezone. What server you were on, what character and roughly what you were doing. You will also want to provide information about your internet connection and your computer including your OS.
Additionally if you know others having issues, you should have these other people submit tickets as well. Having multiple examples of an issue often will help narrow down the problem.
“There is no problem, and if there was a problem its probably your fault, and if it’s not your fault, it’s not that big a deal, and if its actually quite a big deal well then you should do more to fix it and if you cant do more to fix it then its your problem”
Over thirty 60’s dead on Doomhowl. Seems like server connection issue for folks in Eastern Kingdom dungeons? : r/wowhardcore
Surely this was not server side. Right?
DEVS, comment on this, severs are unstable ! How will this be resolved? Send hundreds to troubleshooting pages for their internet? ffs
Your posting on multiple alts isn’t going to make blizzard look for some server issue you think is occuring.
Dev’s also do not look or read at this forum for issues. Devs will only look at issues that come through the Bug report system, and no they aren’t going to chase a instability issue that somehow only impacts you and which isn’t impacting the tens of thousands of other players who happen to be playing at the same time and which aren’t having any issues, and which also isn’t showing up in their server logs.
Here is a link to the Tech Support Forum, if you post there, its possible other users might be able to assist you in troubleshooting your instability problems.
always nice to get a response from blizz simps, I do need no troubleshooting, i need peaple stop mass dc`ing and dieyng after investing thousands of hours into this game, also some respect from devs - ignoring issues like these in 2025 is not the direction good game devs are going.
Yes, because your computer instability obviously is Blizzards fault. Either way, follow the link, your complaining has zero point here.
40 x 60lvl players die same minute definately from their pc problems, your iq must be below 60
Why bother posting if you are just going to gaslight people and waste their time. Server side issues are not resolved by making changes on the client side, period.
I really hope you do not work in IT professionally, if you even have a job at all that is.
you can totally tell that was on Blizzards end when all those people that were all different levels died at the exact same time, and in my opinion Blizzard should reinstate every single one of them , this is not the first time either.
Sorry, when someone say the they are constantly crashing all week, when the servers have been stable, and their only evidence is the claims they are making that the servers are having constant problems and how its killing people where they then they increase the number of people who have died in this supposed incident, yet provide zero details other then their claims, thats not believable.
Most issues people have that they think is a server issue are either a network issue on their side or a client issue thats likely related to something tied directly to their computer. The fact that most people can’t tell the difference often is obvious, and you get the same claims and outrage this poster is making, where in their post there isn’t a single thing that even indicates there was ever a problem.
That said, it also doesn’t matter if I believe them or not, nothing posted on this forum, no matter how outrageous their claims are, will ever go across a single dev’s desk, which is why I pointed them at the appropriate channels to report their issue.
If they original poster is having problems, they need to submit a bug report and provide the necessary information for Blizzard to at least investigate the problem(s), and yes Blizzard has reports which would show server instability, so making claims of problems that can easily be disproved won’t help the poster solve their actual problem, and would simply get their ticket closed, which is likely what happened if they submitted a but report with the same information you see in their original post.
Outside of submitting a bug report the poster has limited options, one other option is to go to the technical support forum, where they might find people who are having similar issues which can help them figure out what’s causing their problems, its possible this could be related to their OS, hardware, firmware, or even the client software which could then drive Blizzard to make a bug fix. There was a link to the TS forum posted above.
As for posts like this, no IT/Dev group will ever look at them, as they don’t provide any information at all concerning anything that could even be investigated.
I haven’t played much on Doomhowl this week due to being on retail for S2 however last week I was online during 2 mass disconnects on Doomhowl (disconnecting for one of them myself) and people were reporting others.
I am fairly certain that it is a particular layer crashing, not the entire server. When i disconnected there was a roll back of a few seconds when I logged back in.
Yes, they do actually lol.
When you’re in game and you start lagging out and at the same time you see a dozen people in your guild chat at the same time going “LAAAAAG!!” and “Is anyone else lagging?” it’s pretty safe to say it’s a server problem.
But you do you. Keep defending the multi-billion dollar company.
No,it’s them.
