Simple question.

Why is Blizzard so stingy when it comes to those marks who are for nothing more then just for transmog sets?

I mean give them on assault quests and at least one in every pvp chest you get. More if you win , but for real.

for the same reason why every old expansion content still has rings/necks/trinkets/artifact relics dropping.

they don’t want people to quickly finish things.

Yeah I despise that. You get one sometimes in Legion’s mission table. But as a bonus loot (something that should be easy if you got them to Ilvl 950) and it gives you a battle report.

But it’s TOO slow unless you have many alts. And sadly in Legion you can’t buy separate pieces. You want this belt of this mog? To farm 12 marks of honor you go!

Huh? They’re easy to get. Just keep doing PvP. It goes faster if you win though. 4 wins gets you a full set of old PvP gear. It’ll likely take 12 losses though.

Really wished they’d bring back something like legion’s pvp towers. free honor + marks of honor for doing pve.

try to win 4 BG’s now with party sync and class stacking. it will take you all day. And from 2 wins i just got 1 mark. I don’t know is that because i’m not 120 or what?

Every time I win, I get one mark and a gold chest that contains two more. Maybe you’re not getting the chest for some reason. If you are… then open them. :grin:

I tend to get a lot of winning/losing streaks. If Horde seems to be losing badly, I’ll try merc mode. If I still get all the terribad teams, then I just come back later.

I’ve got a cheap dirty trick to totally cash in on Marks of Honor.

  1. Wait until Comp stomp
  2. Join Comp stomp
  3. Push farm always (they will always go for farm, keep 1 person at other places)
  4. Literally profit

Enjoy back to back wins, easy blood of the enemy, easy marks of honor. I’ve bought all the PvP mog sets I want for Monk/Paladin/Druid and DH.

A little late to say this but I got 300+ marks with the last comp stomp while farming the 30k honor that I needed for rank 4 blood of the enemy.

i get the chest but there is just usually piece of item in the chest. Never marks of honor. Like so far i won 5 BG and lost 4. Every time i got chest but 1 MoH

I just use them for a bonus roll token.

Last comp stomp I went through and bought all the pvp sets I was still missing, and a 80 mark weapon package.

I am also disappointed with how annoying they are to get especially given that all the rank 3 pvp patterns are locked behind absurd amounts of them which is annoying to complete. As a non pvper I can recommend trying to sync up all your legion class hall alts to run the mission for 1 badge every two weeks and try running the brawls across your alts if you can stomach them. Sometimes it’s easy wins sometimes it’s not. Definitely look out for Comp Stomp as that one is a free win in just a few minutes.

I miss when we could farm em in WQ during legion honestly don’t know why they didn’t keep it like that.
