Seems as if this question, or this question in some ways has already been asked, but’ i’ll ask anyway! Is the Only Way to get Marks of Honor is to hit max and trade honor for it!?
I remember it dropping from Battlegrounds on my Rogue long afore, and I was expecting much the same today! My Rogue was like in it’s 95’s at the time (Legion or so) and I also did get some on a Paladin I leveled like 3 years ago!
Now from what I hear you have to hit max, which sucks for me cuz I want a cool XMOG now! But, what’s worse is if the only way to earn the marks is through trading them for 5 in Oribos! I don’t want to have to collect 6,000 Honor through 20 Minute QUEUES! And I don’t even know how much honor you earn from defeats if any! Have I just hit a wall!?
And What’s more I’m leveling this character! Since it’s the End Expansions Lul, i don’t want to do THAT much pvp! It’s not even something I enjoy to be honest! Do Marks of Honor go across account?! If not that means this will be one sucky experience!
They can still drop from winning BGs

Odd, I won one on my Shaman which I want to collect the Marks for, but there was no Marks in the Chest! Is it a random chance?
It seems to be random, I couldn’t guess the drop rate to be honest
I seem to get them more often from the weekly pvp brawl events though (plus you get some from doing some of the pvp weekly quests as well)
So it’s Max Level stuff I suppose? Figures!
Yea sadly max level definitely have more opportunity to get them
You still get a couple while leveling, but I wouldnt expect alot

before we could get them with honor i was just alt farming any world quests that offer them(even older xpacs)

You can still get them from random BGs but it’s pretty rare now.
I wish they’d bring back the BFA style of random pvp rewards. We’d get a satchel every game or every other game that would have gold, profession mats, pvp potions, and marks of honor. It made PVPing an actual worthwhile way to get mats, gold, and pvp things. Since they removed this they should’ve increased honor gains by a large percent and triple the current honor cap.

I think Marks of honor were working great in Legion pvp world quests.
But this change joins the removal of Hide helm/cloack without transmog in the “silly changes that nobody asked for”.
