Since you keep nerfing every mob grind, the only way to farm it is through scrap.

That’s 15 market research in 3 minutes and 1000 rep takes 7-9 scrap chests worth based on RNG. Which is around half an hour. And that’s with the double rep buff that ends on the 12th! That’s with!!

And then multiply that by 10, because paragon = 10k rep. And then you might not even get the mount from the first paragon box!

Like this is beyond “just undertuned”, this is just transparently “we don’t see players as human beings”. There’s no reason on earth such mundane content needs to reward so little.

  4. They basically mandate you do this right now because of the FOMO rep buff. It would be a bigger waste of time to do it without double rep.

Have done most of that grind, it wasn’t as bad as this - and that’s a Vanilla thing, it’s almost a given it should be worse designed than a rep that is months old.

Until you have to mail another toon around 1400 lockboxes.
And mind you… you can only mail 12 at a time.

Speaking of… I’ve gotten more crackling shards on one toon than I got skyshards across 50 back in mop lol.

They don’t care. The patch is over with. It will be stuck as is, just like tons of previous rep grinds and things(look at all those SL cosmetics that nobody is going to bother to get in 2025 anyways).

My RNG for that was crazy, I went like majority of MOP getting 2 shards, then was like the SoO phase where I was hardcore Garrosh mode and just endlessly ganking alliancing outside the raid and got the other 8 shards in 3 days while killing mobs as I waited

Every once in a while, I get really really blitzed and just farm for an hour.

Ive done that three times over the past 4 years. Not a single Skyshard to show for it.

Maybe I outta try ganking people. See if that helps.

It’s silly that some people did this grind in 45 minutes and now the grind will be 8 hours+ outside of the event.

No telling what they’ll do with it though so a lot of people are doing it right now before the event ends since event scrap piles are at least better than no event. A shame we weren’t paying attention to this while the fast farms existed.

As someone with both at Exalted as well as the Darkfuse Paragon Mount, Ravenholdt was significantly faster and easier.

Do you note how this Winds event is giving us extra rep for DragonFlight?

They will no doubt do the same for TWW.

It already does give more rep for TWW just not as much as DF.

Until the event ends the chests give 1k rep per instead of 500.

That’s why I’m doing it now even though I missed the faster farms since the scrap heap farm is still slow but at least twice as fast as it is without the event.

I mean that next xpac we will more than likely see a 200% increase for TWW, like we see now with Dragonflight.
