Mark of the Wild Display Bug

I’m a bit confused here… level 35 resto Druid. I’m noticing that my Rank 4 Mark of the Wild is not the same version that is casted on me.

the active buff for Mark of the Wild does not reflect the description from ranks 4 OR 3. At rank 4 I should be receiving 202 armor, and 8 stats…but instead im only receiving 150 armor and 6 stats according the active buff description. I’m not in a group, I am the correct level for the rank.

I have 5/5 into “Improved Mark of the Wild” in my skill tree as well. Which increases the effects of Mark of the Wild by 35%. Doing some math, 35% of the 150 armor which is ACTIVE on my character is 52. 150+52 = 202, which is what the description of Rank 4 Mark of the Wild reflects in my spellbook, however on my active buff, it’s not seeming like its reflecting the bonus from the 5/5 “Improved Mark of the Wild”.

Upon removing Mark of the Wild, looking at my individual stats, and rebuffing, I can confirm that the increase in stats is indeed 8, and not 6 as listed by the active buff description. So it looks like the active buff description just does not reflect your investment into Improved Mark of the Wild, alltho it DOES reflect the bonus in your spellbook.

I’m guessing this is a bug as far as the display is concerned, but the bonus’ are working as intended as far as i can tell.

Buff Tooltips dont and never will during TBC take into account talents. It’s working as intended

ok, just checking. this is my first character so was not sure.

your right, there is a bug. my stats are upping correctly in the character window when i cast rank 7 but the buff icon is showing different stats than what is being applied.
