Is the droprate on this like 0.1% or something? Two druids and still can’t get this thing to drop. Guess I’m gonna have to make like 8 more druids to up my chances. Sheesh!

had been not playing but came back to DF in dec. Dropped on my first kill although not a fan of the form.
It does seem to be extremely low.
The majority of posts saying they got it also mention the army of a half-dozen plus druids that they threw at the boss week after week to get it.
It feels like the expansion will end and all the groups running the boss will dry up before it drops for someone who doesnt have an army like that at their disposal.

Took me 5 weeks with 5 druids to get it so yes, the drop rate is horrid. Took me 14 years to get the HH mount…

Regardless of whether it’s this forum or reddit, the ones who successfully farmed it seemed to have a fairly sizeable pool of throwaway Druid alts
5 to 6+ extra Druid alts seems to be the common denominator whenever the OP’s in such posts are asked how many boss pulls they did
There was that one GD’er that says he has 14 throwaway Druid alts @ level 70, but I don’t remember if he ever posted an update or followup on whether he got it
Why is anyone without an army of druid alts who got the mark going to say anything? In any thread that’s here for people to vent their frustrations, that’s only going to earn them contempt and get them berated.

Drop rate is really low. I don’t mind but the thing is that there aren’t color alternatives.
There could’ve been more questlines and secrets to provide additional options.
And somehow, I was lucky that I got it on third try.
Truthfully I thought it was a guaranteed drop because I got it first try. I’m not usually lucky with this stuff.
God… I read Runebear and my Elden Ring PTSD kicked in.
The drop rates for anything off this boss is terrible. After 3 months and 4 lvl 70’s once a week downing him and I’ve only gotten the neck for my main.

Indeed. Drop rate seems pretty good honestly overall I have seen a bunch of people running around with this form…albeit not the best looking one.
There aren’t any numbers to go off, but I’d be willing to bet that it’s around a 5-10% drop rate. So, it’s probably low, but not terribly so. I got mine a few weeks into the patch with a single druid, and I see it just about everywhere now. And no, it’s not my own runebear. I don’t even play Guardian.
It feels lower because we can only try once a week. The other rares we can camp daily. I use this druid only, and it dropped this week! So excited. Keep trying!
he can be solo’ed anyways so not really an issue. even with only wearing full s2 gear I could solo him
Who’s soloing that? Some Blood DK on mythic gear exploiting something?

My Druid isn’t lvl 70 yet but I’m going after that form right off. I don’t have any of the others because it looks more ape than anything else and I don’t care for it but I actually like the Runebear look.
