Mark my words: The Arbiter is evil and Oribos isnt only our city hub for the expansion: its also the final raid

The entire shadowlands lore so far seem to me like the ultimate bait and switch. You can see that in the revendreth microcosmos in which you’re first tasked with hunting down a guy that is opposing the lord of the region who turns out to be an evil dreadlord. I think that, in a larger scale and full of convoluted ins and outs, the jailer is the good guy and the arbiter is the bad guy.

Nah, I know him. He’s a good dude.

Seems like a round about way to just say you’re a Sylvanas loyalist.

I am, but thats besides the point.

I don’t think she’s evil, but I do think she isn’t suppose to be there. She seems Titan like and obsessed with the order of things.

I don’t think The Jailer belongs there either, he could have been a titan forced to watch over The Shadowlands, and when he disagreed, he was jailed and The Arbiter instilled to watch.

He looks like my uncle Roberto, ill tell him you said that.

The datamined voice overs for the NPCs in Oribos make it very clear to me that the Arbiter and the cult of personality surrounding her/it is very much intended to give you an eery, unsettled vibe.

Definitely doubling down on my bet that the Arbiter is evil.

I am 99% sure that will not be the Jailor’s final form. That’s just how we will be introduced to him before he regains his powers from the Arbiter.

My theory is before she went inactive she was the reason Vol’jin’s spirit was “touched by a hand of valor”. Maybe some kind of last ditch effort to correct the cycle of life and death. Since Vol’jins death was pretty much orchestrated by Sylvanas and The Jailer. It’s why he couldn’t hear the Loa that day.

We typically only get one main hub. I doubt very much blizzard is going to surprise us in any positive way.

Thats why instancing exists, or did you forget that the final raid of MoP was in org?

While the idea of The Arbiter being the true villain by the end is cool, it’s also something Blizzard said they were looking to stop doing, since well, we saw how that ended with N’zoth.

They wanna go back to expansion villains being the face and driving force of the expansion.

Tough for Nathanos his girl is hooking up with the Jailer.

From my point of view the Jedi are evil.

The Lady of Pain isn’t good or evil.

I highly doubt two giant rings will be a raid.

Uhhh… I wouldn’t say that.

Spoilers

Rezan is the “Hand of Valor” who sent Vol’jin back. He attached his soul to Vol’jin. The reason he couldn’t hear the Loa that day was because Mueh’zala messed with him.

Evil is merely a point of view.

Ahhhh I wasn’t aware Rezan could do that. Rather neat if Vol’jin becomes the new Loa of Kings. I mean that’s what I’d do if this was my story. A loa with the horde as its followers? Pretty powerful
