What, lob the person who is perceived to be at fault after a loss?
Shuffle is a mixed bag. That’s the idea. Everybody gets what they get. As for coordination that’s going to kind of vary, and you can usually concisely convey your general gameplan, like hey I’ll gate first kyrian spear.
And that is exactly where the frustration will lay cause you are having to rely on total strangers with your rating on the line
If someone gos 0-6 then healers go 3/6 dps go 4/6. If everyone is similar in mmr then nobody gos down
Yeah i agree op. Blizzard should never innovate or add anything new to pvp ever. Blizzard should just focus on the same lfg 3v3 style like theyve been doing for the past 15 years until thr game finally dies a long horrific death.
anyone could tell u solo shuffle will be brainless, but it’s what a lot of people want i guess
So either they are pretending or they have no foresight
i think there is a sizeable, even majority chunk of players who are super casual in pvp, and do not want the trouble of forming a team, using comms t to coordinate CC, anything of the sort. They want a more brainless experience. I argued hard against solo shuffle last year to no avail
If the pvp in your game is brainless then by extension it’s meaningless and everything the players who do it accomplish is meaningless as well cause it took nothing to get
having played it now, i dont hate solo shuffle. It’s gonna be more of a minigame to me and ill stick to real arena as a mainstay, but i do understand wanting to turn off for a while

I’ve played 1 game of it and it went pretty smoothly
Healing SoloQ feels absolutely horrible.
Every game has one guy with 50k HP and 3 other DPS with 90k+ which means each healer is guaranteed to go 3-3 and can’t gain rating at all. It’s also not fun to try and keep 1 undergeared (usually new) DPS alive through mongo stomps.
Even at 1600+ rating I will still queue into 0CR DPS every single game. Once the majority of healers realize climbing rating with 1 horrible DPS is impossible I imagine DPS queue’s will spiral to 30m+.
Seems really random to me so far
I have rating 0 people in my group. Skill and gear level all over the place
When I lose I get like -50 rating down from 1400 to 1300
When I win I get like +5
Not enough people playing on my battlegroup? idk

I think op is drawing his conclusion from low rated 2s and 3s where you get undergeared players fairly regular because you’re always seeing others queuing placement games. Because of that, he thinks there will always be those same undergeared players queuing at his rating in soloq and he’s probably right.
The only time I’ve gone 0-6 is bad matchup IMO, double DH and a Lock. I dont’ have the same CC, nor the ability to live as long. DH/Lock just better dps/survivability at 2.1k+. Lost 100 points. But I’m not complaining, I was the weak link in that match. What I am complaining is losing rating going 3-3 or 0 rating 4-2, 5-1. IDK.
What?
You realize in order for him to go 0-6 you would of had to have him on the enemy team also?
People who suck and lose your matches are the same people who suck and let you win matches when they get shuffled.

Kinda where I’m at. When I don’t feel like combing through LFG and using discord I’ll play RSS. Especially when I’m gearing a new toon I’ll probably play RSS. It will also be nice when I get on at weird hours that my btags arent online. I do that from time to time where I get up at 5am on a weekend to sit at my computer in the quiet of the morning while drinking some coffee. I log on, look in LFG, see 3 groups – none of which being anything viable for my class/spec – and wish I had something to do. RSS for that reason will be nice. I don’t think it will be a replacement for ladder 3v3 or ladder 2v2. It will probably be more popular at the start of DF, but I don’t imagine it taking over completely.
you hit 1600 in like 2 shuffle sessions tho, its not an active season the mmr spread isnt tight enough for the matchmaker

I went from 1200 to 1650 in a single game and now every match is 150k HP warlocks and 105k HP DPS while I’m at 285 PvP ilvl.
The whole system just isn’t well thought out or implimented yet. Healers can’t climb rating if there is a single bad DPS in the game because they force both healers to go 3-3.
The bottom line is that PvP lives and dies with healers. S3 and S4 have shown us that. Now we have somewhat functional matchmaking LFG PvP system in the era where PvP healing is the worst it’s ever been imo.
We have rot specs doing constant insane pressure with no way to stop them and mongo melee specs that do so much damage that people dying in a single global is common and healers can die while free casting without DPS even needing to commit kicks or stuns.
Yet it seems like Blizzard are having a hard time with this real head scratcher like why aren’t healers playing PvP?!?!? Queue’s are 20m+?!?!?!
The harsh truth is that PvP development for years has been focused on making it fun for DPS. Being able to land kills without needing any coordination, being able to run at a single target all game, being able to have near 100% uptime on targets are all changes that have made the average DPS players time in Arena more enjoyable along with all punishment for failures being removed.
The cost of this has been that healing is now the least fun and least impactful that it has ever been and until Blizzard start thinking about making PvP enjoyable for healers Arena and SoloQ will languish as a dead “side game” with empty LFG lists and 30 minute or longer shuffle queue’s.

You just described how it feels being undergeared in all arena modes.
