How many total tenders have you gotten for this month alone? (Not including any rollover from last month)
For me, it was 1000. And I noticed I was not receiving any of the 100 tenders from the Traveler’s Log. And I was only able to access the chest once for 500.
If 1k is the total max for this month, we are only able to buy one item which is complete bs.
I am so hoping this is a bug. I reported it but I do not even think the GM understood what I was trying to tell them. :\

At the first of each month, players with an active account in good standing will receive 500 Trader’s Tender automatically every month from a chest called the Collector’s Cache.
Complete monthly activities listed in the new Traveler’s Log. Each month features a rotating, themed set of activities. These activities provide the opportunity to earn up to 500 additional Trader’s Tender. There’s only a set amount of Tender you can earn each month through completing activities, so you won’t need to complete all the ones in the log each month

Working as intended, they never intended for people to be able to buy everything each month. Cause blizzard, which is why they added the freeze option for a single item. First week was simply a promotion for participating with the launch of the traders thing. After that you only get 3k currency per month.

Wait so each month we are to get 3k total tenders? I finished the log and was only able to access the chest ONCE. and only got 1k total in tenders…and I made it to the jester outfit.
And I understand the not being able to get everything, tbh there was only 4 things I really wanted for this month as is. :\

No you dont get 3k , i think i got 800 from chest then another 500 from activities
you get a total of 1,000 a month… 500 from activities if you complete them and get the bonus item and 500 for being a subscriber in good standing.

I don’t go out of my way to earn them, I just check on the 1st of the month and see if there is anything I want and if I have enough chicken tenders to buy it, and it gives me a chance to see an actual fellow player cause my server is dead, there are usually 3 or 4 there.
How dead? I didn’t know Huolon could fly, I thought he died the instant he spawned, but no, he fly’s past me as I try and complete bigger bag achieve sometimes. Sha of Anger can’t fly though,. Tuesday morning, 8:30am, he’s just standing there.

It’s a way to keep you coming back. Frankly ya, it’s a bit low. I don’t touch the lot of it so only did the open world, few things to get the monthly reward. I’m glad the rewards for march for me aren’t that interesting to bother with but I can imagine why it’d feel bad.
Ion and dev think everything needs to have a decision of picking one or two things and they think it is fun lol

You can only get 1k per month, meaning you can either buta few minor items, or a single big ticket item each month. For some weird reason the devs thing that they more “meaningful choices” they add to the game equates to more fun. The reality is there is no meaningful choice, it’s just a one track choice and it causes even more problem’s than it solves as per usual.

at first, i confused/mixed up the Travel Points with the Trader’s Tender currency
as of right now i earned 790 travel points and got 300 Trader’s tender plus the 500 that became available when the calendar month became March
1k total per month.
I bought treasure chest (750), hood (100), scarf (100) and I also had leftover from last month to buy my frozen bandolier.
Froze the shield for next month.
It’s all working as intended.

You know perfectly well that if it was possible to earn enough to buy everything in the shop every month, there would be endless complaining about people feeling that it’s “a slap in the face that I’m FORCED to grind these FOMO tenders!!!”
There can only be “meaningful choice” if it’s not possible to get everything all at once…so I have no idea what you even mean by that.
I don’t think they’ve stated anywhere that there’s a cap as to how many tendies you can bank.
They told us at the start it’d be 1k per month. Last month we got a bonus as an introduction.

Would be nice if there was a really hard solo dungeon instance (like mage tower) built into the trading post that cost 5000 tenders to unlock, beat it and that toon gets free trading post items for life.
And the dungeon should be called: The Tenderloin

And when I first went to trading post I saw the mount and said "Ya lol, I bet that cost 100,000 Tender Vittles, and then I clicked the vendor and saw the cost and how much I had and said “hmm… wait a sec…”
Every time I see the word “tender” I think of chicken tenders
