I can no longer ignore the irony of this statement from tonight’s announced hotfixes:
Preservation
Developers’ notes: Preservation has been underutilized lately, in part due to the range restrictions of the specialization. To help compensate for that, we’re increasing the healing and defensiveness of Preservation so they can traverse the battlefield more easily and safely.
Time of Need clone’s overall healing increased by 100%. Time of Need clone’s Living Flame healing increased by 16%.
Live-Giver’s Flame heals for 40/80% of damage done (was 35/70%).
Inherent Resistance reduces magic damage taken by 4/8% (was 2/4%) for Preservation Evoker.
Attuned to the Dream increases healing done and received by 3/6% (was 2/4%) for Preservation Evoker.
They say Preservation is “UNDERUTILIZED” (I sorta agree) and give them large buffs to compensate. Preservation Evokers make up 10% of healers in the top #1000 players on USA.
Meanwhile, I’m legitimately the only Augmentation Evoker in the Top #1000 players in ALL OF NORTH AMERICA and the only Gladiator Augmentation Evoker of S3, we get zero changes, and there’s legitimately more Blood DKs than Augmentation Evokers in that Top #1000 range…
Ohh and Outlaw Rogue gets the smallest baby nerf that won’t be felt, along with mage buffs (RMX), to help it remain the #1 most overpowered and oppressive spec in PvP.
Ohhh the irony… your Elemental Shaman is literally just a more overpowered version of Augmentation Evoker in PvP…
I’m not asking for much here and left very reasonable QoL proposals for them and they completely ignored it and tried to balance the game in a way where Rogue/Mage is the meta again.
Your lack of game knowledge shows here. I agree with the Destro/DH/Rshaman comp being OP (Destro and DH got decent nerfs), but Ret and Warrior??? Hahaha maybe for average enhance shamans

I was 3079 in shuffle last season #1 in all of NA on any spec, am 2500 currently on 2 aug evokers this season #1 and #2 in NA and the only glad aug (When the spec is literally worse than blood dk), and you aren’t even good at the shaman you are on when shaman is legit 1 of the 4 most op classes in game. 2400 rating on yours lmao, I got 2550 on shaman playing it for 2 seasons…
Look it up on Drustvar my 2 Aug Evokers are the only NA Glad Aug Evokers unless you go the 2 Glad Aug Evokers on EU.
The spec is factually the most underrepresented in the game, and suggesting otherwise is objective false.
People can’t handle that I point out the irony of this preservation statement, " Preservation has been underutilized lately" because Augmentation has way less representation, and its clear the spec only got buffed because Cdew lost the tournament
