Map/Quest Animation

I know this wasn’t in Classic or anything, but I was thinking the other day regarding the animation for opening your mail/map in current WoW. The animation where your character pulls out the little map in front of them.

I thought this would be a neat little fun feature to add, if they ever decide to add in extras(for both the map as well as quest log, and mail). I think it would really add to the whole RPG element, especially since there will be loads of people opening their map and checking their quest logs during this game. I can just picture tons of people sitting in this animation as you go around the world lol.

Yeah I always through this was a cool addition to the game. Though it does telegraph to anyone looking at you that you’re looking at the map and probably not your surroundings.

Especially not the undead Rogue behind you right now.

Yeah, I was thinking of this. I think that’s one of the downsides potentially.

I figured if you’re just standing there like you’re AFK, then you’re bait already though.
