OK. I’ve been playing >15 years. I have always had (mostly, so far as I can remember) map coordinates thru TomTom. Now, TomTom does not load. Laetrix loads, but so far as I can tell them does not provide map coordinates. So, I have no map coordinates on the mini-map. Is there something short of being a programmer or a macro compiler that will allow me to get the coordinates back on the minimap? Please? Pretty please?
I’d suggest getting TomTom working rather than trying to find a replacement.
I looked on the TomTom Issues page and found no complaints, so it is not likely to be a bug.
What addon manager do you use - or do you install addons manually?
Step 1:
COMPLETELY remove the TomTom addon. Make sure that your
,,,\Interface\Addons\TomTom
directory is removed.
Then reinstall.
If that fixes it, you had some kind of corrupt or unwriteable or extra file.
Step 2:
Disable ALL other addons, so that TomTom is the only addon enabled.
If that fixes it, then it’s an addon conflict … which is weird, since pretty much everybody uses TomTom, so I don’t see the other addon’s author not noticing, but hey.
Then re-enable your addons one by one until you find the conflict.
Step 3:
Install the addon BugSack and see what errors it shows.

Did you reinstall addons recently when you came back?
Just check that you hve installed the Retail version of TomTom (and possibly other addons) rather than one of the Classic versions. Curseforge serves TomTom for all versions of WoW now, and you would not be the first to get the wrong version!
Thanks. I use Curseforge and TomTom is on my add-ons list and shows that it is updated. However, it does not install. So yeah ok, I’ll check to see that I’m working with the Retail version (though I’m pretty sure that I am). Not sure if I reinstalled Add-ons, but I’ll check. This has given me a migraine (and I’m too old for that s**t)
