Spreading the light sub-worldquests not appearing. Lighting 4 keyflames WQ works and rewards chest. No Delve key nor Epic 584 gear inside, however. Dalies from NPCs that pop up when minor keyflames are lit work fine, reward bag and rep.
Azj-Kahet weekly seems to be working but I refuse to complete by now if I won’t be getting delve keys or gear.
Second week in a row where weekly quests did not reset.
Its even more infuriating because they said it was fixed, they said they coudnt do anything for the rewards that you are obviously going to miss and just wait for the next reset.
“Our developers have fixed the issue that was causing this problem, the next weekly reset should reset all weekly activities appropriately. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
Did not reset:
Profession treatises
Awakening the Machine
Coffer keys
Quest: Gearing Up for Trouble
Quest: Rollin’ Down in the Deeps
Quest: Blacksmithing Services Requested
Weekly renown from rares
Did Reset:
Forging a pact
Hallowfall keyflame quests
Mining weekly quest
This is inexcusable at this point. And was before. We are over a month in to release. I’m tired of logging in and playing the guessing game, and being on the wrong end half the time this expac.
Half the expansion I have not been able to progress weekly events. This is not Beta. This is Live Release. This is not the “Early Access”. This. Is. Live.
This is easily one of the worst Expansion launches in Warcrafts history. With regards to maintenance, extent and number of bugs, Guild Banks disappearing is what probably easiest pushes it as THE worst expansion launch.
Funny - I have gone all this time without this issue. This reset I didn’t realize the issue until I had a new alch treatise crafted and then couldn’t use it. “Odd”, I thought. I went to get my weekly alch proff quest. Wasn’t available. Went into the ringing deeps, still seeking more alchemy knowledge points, no weekly quest for wax. “Huh?”. Imagine my sadness reading through this thread that this issue has been persisting from the start of the xpac and blizz hasn’t even responded at all. Oooofff.
Quick update - Submitted a ticket on this and a got a generic “Nothing we can do. Try these steps (no dice of course). And also you should submit a bug report”. So… Yea. Guess im just messed on the knowledge points now. Don’t love that.
Had this bug hit my account with yesterdays reset.
Nothing reset for me. rare mob rep drops, delve keys, severed threads pact quest awarded no rep, theater event, awaken the machine, hollowfall spreading the light…
This bug destroys all want to enjoy playing. As much as i wish Blizzard would give the effected accounts backpay for everything that is missed, i feel it will just be a “tough luck, thanks for the money” response…
Neither of those are available this week. This week’s quest is given by Brann and is to do three Delves. Yes, this is a different quest than the Delve Weekly event going on now that requires you to do 5.
The quests Archives: Seeking History (collect 100 discs), Rollin’ Down in the Deeps, and Gearing Up for Trouble aren’t available for pickup on this toon but they are available on another max lvl alt along with the delves quest. The delves quests did not replace the discs quest.
So your alt has the Disc and the do 3 Delves quest available?
Since your alt would have been behind on the Disc quests I wonder if that’s why. The Disc quests further the story line so it may be that it remains as catch-up on alts.
The Rolling in the Deep and Gearing up for Trouble aren’t related to the Delves quest (by that I mean the pinnacle cache quest given in Dornogal) and those could definitely not have been reset unfortunately. I was able to claim those two this week but last week I couldn’t.
Feels like if they want the delves etc stuff to be the replacement for the weekly “Emissary” quest, then those should be available to all characters 70+, just like the world soul one is. It’s kind of rude to restrict a bunch of them to only max levels, when you can still do delves etc on the lower level chars but miss out on the weekly chest.
