Make this weapon have no charges and instead be a 90 second on use effect with a 2 minute CD that starts when you use the item to simulate a weapon swap after the original 3 uses.
Or make it have a 30 second CD after 3 uses to simulate a weapon swap. But have unlimited charges.
This would make no difference to anyone but druids who no longer have to farm the item.

Feral is 100% reliant on wolfshead helm and mcps to even qualify as functional at a raid level.
Without them theyre a dead raid slot.

Let me put this another way.
The difference between a Druid with MCPs and Wolfshead and without is the same as the difference between a melee dps with 305+ weapon skill and 200 weapon skill on a raid environment.
That isnt hyperbolic. It isnt exaggeration. Its THAT important. Heres why:
Druid weapons are stat sticks. Period. They contribute towards white hits and yellow hits exactly 0% from their weapon damage. Just raw stats.
Show me the weapon that has stats that can equal to FIFTY PERCENT HASTE. MCPs do more for Feral than Slice & Dice does for Combat. And Combat gets so much out of SnD that it demands 100% uptime on SnD or as close as you can humanly get.
Wolfshead on powershifting is a free Shred every fourth powershift. Every 3rd if youre 2/2 imp Shred. Shred is #2 on damage for Cat. Behind white hits. Which MCPs boost.
No. If you want the activations, farm the charges. A QoL improvement would be some means to consolidate those charges into a single bag slot. Make the thing rechargeable by consuming newly farmed MCPs. This would permit better bagspace economy for ferals while still requiring gnomer farms for the unique activations. A single MCP could be overcharged to hold up to 30 charges. The druid would still have to farm 10 MCPs but their bags won’t take as hard a hit.

Or have them have charges, but have the charges repair, so you’d still have to farm a few for the Classic flavor, but you could repair them after a raid.

Something crazy about wolfshead is sometimes ur shred damage is higher than you white hits lmao, if you don’t have a pummler. That’s how powerful wolfshead is. Also mcp isn’t worse than any other farm kitty has to do.
You have to farm your own demonic runes and your own mcp. Part of the tax for playing an off meta build. Here is a tip, farm 5 gnomers in 15 mins then tp to moon glade and farm runes.
Also kitty does legit damage, literally third best dps until AQ and then only fire mage that controls ignite can beat you most of the time. Kitty brings free innervate and Brez plus crit, free dispels cuz we know mages don’t decurse, they are an amazing 1 of in a raid

This is the only reasonable solution assuming any change is made at all. Change nothing else. Just make the charges restore on repair.
