Manari dks, but no darkfallen?

Now I dont mind manari being able to be dks I like customization even tho the lore is a lil sketchy.

But it feels like a slap in the face for the new draenei customization to be usable by dks and not the elf one. You know, the one that makes sense lorewise as they are literally undead and examples exist within the ebon blade already with the unholy trainer and literally even in the blood dk talent art the character has red eyes (and also looks human and imo the option for red/green eyes should just be a given for dks not even specifically the darkfallen customization but I’d take what I could get since I play elf anyways). The blood trainer seems to have normal eyes which I dont see why that couldn’t be an option too tbh since you can have the normal race skin colors and all. Maybe even some other colors like forsaken get too.

So the one class that actually has abilities and a whole spec themed around bloody, red, vampirism…can’t have red eyes. But they can have black eyes for nelves so clearly an eye color option isn’t impossible for dks.

And they can have red skin now too ig.

As far as I know, nelves are the only ones with different eyes, purely from the nightwarrior power.

Manari dks still have blue eyes, just the skin changes. And void/belves have always had the undead skin tone for dks, and the darkfallen update gave the dead skin tone to non dks.

So you can still be a ‘darkfallen’ dk, like you always could. The thing now is manari. No one got new eyes.

Actually…

Draenei who’ve unlocked the Man’ari customization options do have a few new eye colors now, including fel green, purple, gold and kind of blue dots in the middle of blackness.

Thank you, but wrong topic. I was talking about dks :stuck_out_tongue:

They need to unpair the red eyes from the dark ranger skin tones and also allow DKs to use dif eye colors.

technically the darkfallen skin tone is different from the dk undead tones seeing as how it’s tied to the red eyes like someone else mentioned, and the dk ones have some minor undead features like cracked lips for belves whereas the darkfallen one is just pale but otherwise normal, which would be nice to have on a dk but not a big deal imo like the actual eye colors

with the game throwing new customizations and class combos all over with very little care for lore anyways, darkfallen or even better eye colors in general for dks seems like an obvious one that actually makes sense too.

And I’d agree unpair the red eyes from the skin tone too anyways like the way manari were implemented. And while we’re at it give forsaken an option for good posture, those poor exposed spines

Odd that Darkfallen (Vampire / San’layn) Elves cannot be Death Knights (Undead) … Yet Man’ari (Demon Draenei) can.

Wut?

Yes and no. They need to poop out the lore for that first.
Dks eyes are based on the magic they were infused with. Which is why our dks have blue eyes, because lich king.

But if menari are no longer legion… it’s not farfetched to think that multicolored dk eyes aren’t far off as well.

Technically, yes. But no. The dk skin tones represent darkfallen, not in a true sense of course, but the idea is there :joy:
Give blizzard a break. They can only wipe and flush so much lore at once and give us the cosmetics we want.

It is good news though that they are actually listening and giving us more cosmetics.
