I would love to buy a Tavern in-game and manage it. A medium sized tavern by the side of the road some where. I imagine perhaps having NPC pet like waiters and waitresses that would actually serve the costumers. I could have a garden to grow raw fruits and vegetables. And also use my cooking skills so I could make my own food to serve customers. This is just an Idea I have.
Would like to hear your opinions.

This has been discussed thoroughly and extensively. Only it is called “housing” not “taverns”. Anyway, I would think if they ever did housing you would likely be in luck, as chances would probably be good that you could decorate your house as tavern. However, I think trying to turn WOW into this type of game would disappoint many. The WOW team has years of experience in Raids, Dungeons, PVP, Outside and Questing content. Their virtual house experience would probably leave many with mixed feelings. Their first shot at it in WoD was a swing and a miss. I don’t see it going well.
It sounds like a neat minigame.
People will hate it because it’s not one of the three pillars.

A bakery would be fun and maybe some gaming tables for recreation. Also we could use our fishing skill to supply seafood. Maybe livestock pens and a hunters shack, or maybe we could hunt animals for meat? Ummm we could make tasty stews. And use our herbalism to make potions to sell. Maybe even get exp for our work as Tavern Keepers.
