I’m struggling with this story mode, it seems like a lot of work for a casual who doesn’t raid, I make to platform after mounting and i immediately get one shot death as soon as I land, any tips please?

It seems as soon as I land the beams fill the platform I start running to avoid beams and I die, I don’t get a single attack off
That sounds like it would be extinction then? For that you need to hug all the way to the correct side,the NPCs should be heading that way.

Once you land on the platform, you need to IMMEDIATELY start attacking the mini boss. Do not wait for your NPCs, attack and break his shield so he stops casting that ability that’s killing you. As soon as he’s dead and you can mount, mount up and spam your dragonriding abilities through the rings again up to the second platform and do the same thing.
This is by far the worst story mode ever. After entering the dark heart and killing the 1st mini boss, the game wouldn’t let me mount up and I end up dying.
