As far as I could remember if you were in bear form or cat form when you got mana burned the spell did damage but did not drain your mana. However, when I get mana burned now, my mana does get drained. Is this supposed to happen?

I know Druids have had that immunity forever, but really can’t remember if it’s a Classic or BC thing.
It’s definitely a bug. Played a druid in vanilla and used to swap to different forms to avoid burns. For the record, I only played vanilla and Legion so I’m sure I’m not confusing vanilla with any other expansion.
Add it to the list what are we up too now 3,456 or 3,457 bugs?
This is so game breaking for druids in pvp, but sadly no one plays a druid so it’s not getting any attention. If this was a warrior / mage bug the forum would be losing it’s mind.

I ran into a few warlocks and priests who were aware of this bug and abuse it. They just mana drain/burn even in form and then you shift out of form to heal up, yet we’re already out of mana. Its essentially a free kill.
Hunter viper sting does not remove Mana in bear/cat.
Priests and warlocks can do it, but not hunters.
Bump for visibility. This is super annoying to deal with especially on bosses that burn you when you are trying to powershift.

That might mean that those spells are broken, and not Druid form immunities.

This is not working as intended. This is a bug and needs to be fixed. Druids have always been immune to mana burn / polymorph effects while in bear or cat form.

Absolutely! There was literally nothing I could do but try to run away.
Can we please get this fixed before phase 2. This will destroy our pvp…

It doesn’t help with mana burn bug, but I intend on making a shadow resist set for priests/warlocks one of our tougher match ups.
