Out of everything I play, ele is honestly the toughest one to climb with.
I don’t even want to gear it up because of how bad it feels to get sat on.

I didn’t act dumbfounded. I just made a thread to point out the increased levels of rage that particular day. I get whispered playing boomy too but it was especially bad this day. I don’t know why you are the way you are by the way. I’d work on that.
I’d assume so since most people say boost. I don’t know if they checkpvp me or just see duelist gear or what. But honestly my personal cr never dips below 2k no matter who I play with or against so at worst I’m usually just fighting rivals. It’s not like I’m terrorizing people with 30k hp. Besides, what should I do, buy an entire extra set and only upgrade it partially? I mean I only have one toon. I don’t know what they expect me to do. Never play the game because no one “the same xp/gear” wants to push? Lol it just seems silly. They certainly could just think of what to do differently.
To the side convo, just about everything is playable though. Ele for example isn’t like god tier caster like spriest but there’s 3k eles. I mean it definitely can succeed.

Alliance side yesterday I was trying to find some partners on my dk for 3s around 1pm EST and there was only 2 other groups in LFG. I finally gave up after about 20 minutes of trying to find people 
To quote one of the best elemental shamans in the game “Most of my wins as elemental are #1 mana based win #2 my ww or warrior teammate randomly one shotting someone, #3 dampening. It is very rarely I score a kill myself.”
He responded to my frustrations about current meta and how I feel like its a class without a strength or identity in 9.1 pvp. Go shaman if you like it, but it’s mediocre at best this season.
No Eles in Rank 1 cut-off no tourney eles, pretty much spriest firemage and even lock is more relevant than elemental who can’t even break fleshcraft quickly.

I mean, I wouldn’t sweat it. I don’t personally have any issue with Vendes, but it seems a little silly to hate on you for playing the hand you’re dealt (and in your case you already hit max gear in all content on a non-FoTM DPS anyway). I certainly don’t feel a bit bad about playing BM/HPriest to finish out my 2100–it’s not like I wasn’t queuing into nothing but meta comps to get there anyway.
Oh I’m sure it can. It was just saying how it was for me.
I also feel this way. Gust of wind was taken because they wanted to make it a turret spec but then didn’t give them anything to use as a good defensive. It’s a squishy turret spec…It makes no sense. 
I loved ele in mop, they should just revert to that.
I play pretty optimally and average 3-4k dps per game. But alot of that is the chip damage the fire elemental legendary brings, and its no longer a meta where you can just unload echoshock lavaburst stormkeeper and 100-0 someone without every single modifier in the game. Like Dark Arch, PI, Stormkeeper, Skyfury etc. And if that happens any class can one shot better than ele can almost.
I’m not, I promise. I couldn’t be less concerned. It was just a post in jest.
As far as Vendes is concerned, I didn’t think anything of him or his stigma until he raged once in a two’s match of ours. That’s the only time I even recall seeing him but apparently it’s been more frequent since he remembers. I certainly don’t/didn’t notice. He’s just odd but on these forums, he fits right in lol.
And nah you shouldn’t feel badly. That’s kinds my point anyway, I don’t ever hate on the people playing stuff. Like sure if I queue into BM I’m like ugh… crap. But it’s because I know it’s gonna be hard. And I just think like “well, these aren’t rare so, let’s figure out a way to beat it.” Sure it sucks losing to one shot crane kicks sometimes or playing against demo as a team with no purge but, it is what it is. I never direct anything at the player.
I’m glad you said this because I’ve mentioned that a bunch too; specifically when I’d discuss convoke. Like people said convoke was everywhere and it was a free kill. I’d always say well… I never die to it. It’s not like playing convoke means you never play against it lol. So yeah I don’t mean to take anything away from your session with sock. We would’ve gotten it anyway regardless.

We definitely would have. Honestly our last session went great, I think I was starting to learn how to play with a Boomy a little better. lol But Jesus Christ was doing 2’s with a BM easy feeling. Fearing off traps, craven negating like all damage, etc. I can definitely see why people hate it. xD
Haha yeah I mean people just like thinking their spec requires a doctorate while the enemy can be played asleep. Makes them feel good. While this sentiment can be true-ish (emphasis on the ish) it’s just the way the game is sometimes. Some things just have training wheels lol. But they can lose. I feel good into BM on boomy where as on feral the craven hurts a lot more. On the flip side, dks are almost until labor as necro boomy where on feral it’s significantly easier. Just a matchup thing.

Do they? I thought this was pretty universally known. There’s definitely counter classes and specs/classes that are undeniably better than others. What I think gets conflated is that notion with the one that a countered class can’t win or that a weaker spec isn’t viable at all. That isn’t true. For instance craven leggo certainly counters dot based specs eg feral, affliction, etc. However that’s not to say a druid/lock can’t win and also just because say, boomy isn’t as good as spriest doesn’t mean a boomy can’t reach R1. I think that’s what gets people confused. They seem to think if it’s not the meta it’s just completely unplayable. Coping mechanism.
People do deny the fact that they counter, mainly they deny it and lie when they lose, for instance I was playing mw outlaw into rm and we won, I get rage wsp that I am playing a counter comp and that I should stop playing the game, I found that so hilarious cuz 1 mw is a horrid class with the design of 2 meh defensives and that is about it, and outlaw being a c tier class not getting anything done unless ur playing with a broken dmg class. we just outplayed by rotating perfectly and pre using things before goes but people will defend their class or comp just so they don’t feel like they are bad lmao

The only time I remember you at all, aside from the one match with the lock, is the period of time after that where you spam queued nothing but BM. There was a thread about it. I’m not saying you only queue with them as I don’t keep tabs on you obviously. But to say you don’t at all would be silly. It’s also ironic that you’d even get defensive about it considering having empathy with people who rage about playing specs like feral lol. You’ve even rage whispered people whilst playing hpriest/bm. So I don’t know? I’m just saying I don’t think you have the moral high ground on… well anything really.

It was during that period of time where you like pretended to repent for being toxic. Whatever though honestly, this tangent is overstaying it’s charm.
I haven’t sold a carry since MoP. I just play with whomever all the time. They are frequently inexperienced players but I’d rather play than sit in queue for hours. I just enjoy playing.
