It has been a long 5 years since I have touched this game. If there are any old timers on ED they will most likely remember me from my....ready for it?....Kingship Of The East days as a little dwarf named Wraithhammer. Later in my career in that KoTE I race and name changed to my current toon, Thankus. It was all for RP reasons.

I just wanted to stop in and say hello. I have heard that many of the former KoTE peeps are on another server now, but I do fondly remember my dwarven friends from the Clan....Clan Battlehammer. It is good to see you all still around!

Still deciding if I want to start playing again.

I mean if I do pvp videos would prob ensue as well. Before I left we were doing some fun stuff. Heimdel, Return, Hinik, Crystal, oh the days of KoTE….LOL.

The days of dozens of Alliance guilds getting together and just leveling entire regions.

Are there any old players still around?

A lot of the KotE folks migrated to WrA. Oldtimers? Some are still around, but as always, the face of a realm changes quite a bit with each expansion.

There is a good collection of RP-PvP guilds Alliance side that get together and kick it around for WPvP but not at the same scale as you would have been accustomed to.

Hopre you get your camera rolling again!

My god i remember you. You recorded the video of the event that made me love this realm after i mistakenly moved here instead of earthen ring! I was a undead named aglaica in shadows of lordaeron before you took your break. Not a huge name or anything but nice to see you again.

Kingship of the East? The "noble house" that dared to defy the Lord Tact and not move to the reservation tree house in the Holy Land?! The "noble house" that refused the generosity of the Church of Tact when we took down the "no gurls alowd" sign on your tree house?! The "noble house" that refused to cease occupation of the Holy Tavern of Tact, the site of the Lord Tact's blessed ascension?! The "noble house" that produced Hinik the Undersweeper, Fallen God of Fashion, Corruptor of Janitorial Traditions, Bringer of Unkempt Fall Color Matching?!

Behold, blood-children! It is the Kingship of the East who was responsible for the Cataclysm that destroyed the Park in Stormwind (and much of the rest of the world--but that doesn't matter). Their refusal to vacate the Holy Tavern of Tact caused the Lord Tact to become angry with rage, and in his rage, he unleashed a great Sneeze! The Lord Tact's holy mucus rained down upon Azeroth as--goodness gracious--great balls of fire! He also sneezed forth Deathwing, causing further destruction, chaos, and general mayhem across Azeroth for years!

So sayeth the Declaration regarding the Holy Land:

I am also declaring that the tavern formerly run by House Blackstone has now become the Tavern of Tact, as the Lord Tact once drank an alcoholic beverage at the establishment. By my authority as the Grand Hierarch of the Church of Tact, I request that House Blackstone vacate the premises so that we may set up an Altar of Tact in the Tavern of Tact. The Church will be setting up a reservation, complete with semi-autonomous governance, for those displaced by this holy act. The current target location for this reservation is a tree house in Elwynn Forest. We have removed the "No gurls alowd" sign and replaced it with a "House Blackstone Tavern" sign.


Renounce your past, blood-child. The Lord Tact is waiting for you with open arms, a loving smile, and a collection of very sharp knives.

To be fair Kingship had pretty much disbanded even before I took my leave. Yes the Tact days, oh boy boy boy. I knew some Horde would get all excited when the Kingship name was mentioned. Good times all around.

I am still deciding on whether or not to jump back into the madness. Would a horde rogue gently walk me through the game and the pvp landscape again? Hahahaha.

Yep, still plugging away on ED, though Silvershield is on ice for a bit. Also very excited for Classic next year.

You are wise to emulate the MOG EMPEROR’s attire!

Realm went to poo a few years back and the better of us bounced for better RP pastures. ZPvP/zerglings with no interest in RP ruined Emerald Dream and its hard to put anything meaningful in place to counteract this all this time.

As ye cun see, weh Battlehammer's continue t' persevere... coming up on ten winters in Azeroth. I do recall several fond memories o' our joint ventures with' Kingship of th' East, and thank ye fer helpin' t' rekindle tha' history.

Obviously Wraithhammer would beh welcome t' join meh clan, if tha' beh yer choice. Yer a trusted ally an' whatevah path ye choose, ye 'ave allies amongst me dwarven kin.

(( Oh I remember you Xeer. There are many I remember from way back when too. Looks like many changes around, some and some bad but overall seems like the wpvp scene is alive and healthy even though on a smaller scale. Which is fine with me.

It is true that it seems about the time Kkhaoz left things went to well...…..as you described it...…….poo...……….KK accepts personal responsibility for this and apologizes to community as a whole.............

perhaps it was coincidental.....perhaps it was incidental…….who is to say...….

but nonetheless a poo storm ensued...………….and ED has not yet been pressure washed.................and has not yet been made whole again..............

So let us all focus on solutions...................WHAT can WE combined DO to restore ED to its former glory..............

SO MANY players left this server for WRA............how do WE breathe life into ED again and get THEM to RETURN and engage the new EDers to bring back the amazing glory of what once existed here ??

For this lowly DK I believe it STARTS with the forums..........over the past 2 years OUR Forum DIED a horrible suffering miserable agonizing death.......tbh the dead Mok Nathal forums were more exciting omg and perhaps more active and that is SAD.........

there must be some excitement............some reason to do what we do............some DRAMA...........yes DRAMA..........some rivalry..........some escape from the RT world...........otherwise WTH is the point of it all ???

I have been in this game since before LK and am immersed...........HOW DO WE get the new generation immersed ????

FUN HAS TO BE FUN AGAIN...........................

otherwise why not go play Red Dead Redemption ?????
