REALLY really really really really blows that we are stuck at home right now with 8.3. Like, REALLY blows.
At the rate blizz is going alpha won’t be out till end of April. Its been like 5 months with barely a peep about shadowlands. Hell BFA alpha was put in Feb. The longer the alpha/beta the better but nope let’s just keep pushing encrypted builds and kill off any hype people had
It’s just too bad there aren’t any other video games to play out there. Shame.
I’d rather be playing SL.
Try out other games?
Sounds like the perfect time to do just that
Ew… why would I want a half
'd expansion right now.
I have to find more steady work so that’s the only reason I’m at home… this Virus hysteria can kiss my fury behind.
TBH I don’t really enjoy many other games. The thing I like about WoW is the social aspect coupled with the RPG ability dungeon/raids.
Yes and look how BFA turned out. People should REALLY not compare BFA alpha/beta period and dates to anything else. That expansion had a very quick test period, very ineffective one at that.
Yeah I get what you mean, for years I hated solo games. But who knows you might enjoy something else like OW which is having an event right now as well as teasing the next hero.
If all else falls, you can always check out something to watch or read.
If that’s the case I highly recommend you give classic a try!
Hence why I said the longer the better. Release the expac in November but start testing now or we will have another wod/bfa
Ooops sorry, a mis-read on my part. Yup I think they would be good to release alpha soon to get as much testing as possible.
That sucks I guess. You’ve got another ~8 months to go. Better try out some other MMOs or something.
To me it looks like they’re trying to do a Legion-like testing cycle. See, Legion Alpha came out shortly after BlizzCon, and 3 months after it was announced back in August. The reason we got it so soon was because it was in a good state. Back when we got BFA Alpha, streamers only had access to Nazmir and Drustvar. Essentially just the finished demo. Azerite Traits hadn’t been implemented yet, class changes were yet to come, and in general there wasn’t much to test.
Legion on the other hand (unless my memory fails me) launched its Alpha with multiple zones, Dalaran, and multiple classes available with their Artifact quests and whatnot. The only reason it started that way was because it had been in development since early WoD. Now Blizz is trying to develop it after the expansion (from what I can tell) and are giving themselves more time to make a finished product, release Alpha and Beta ready for testing, and hopefully break the tick tock cycle of good and bad expansions.
That’s just my take. Who knows what will happen.
Legions initial release was the demo at blizzcon. Just the 1st half of the Dh starter zone
I don’t think the people who are working their buns off to get brutosaur would be too happy lol
Two words: Dragon’s Dogma
Nah I’m not stuck with 8.3, 8.3 is stuck with me.
That topic name… NO… NOOOOOO… a thousand times NO… we are ALL still working on… backpacks, brutosaurs, achievements, you name it… how much of this stuff is gonna be GONE when SL comes, hmm?
This is basically me if Blizzard rushes out Shadowlands:
im not gonna lie, i been playing other games atm…
