I’m not sure why you would expect the first, most powerful druid and the first to walk the dream to be in a patch centered around the emerald dream.

Her death scene was pretty. Does that count for doing something?
And to be fair, Malfurion’s also pretty lackluster in doing anything since Tyrande’s been front and center for 3 expansions now.

…when we follow Tyrande back into the Shadowlands and the Winter Queen has a baby bump…

We had to trade Malfurion for Yserra since she was the only one that could save the emerald dream. Even though Merithra was the one that used the ancient defense mechanism that saved the emerald dream and there was no transfer of power or knowledge from Yserra to Merithra. A+ writing. Very nice.

Why people pretend to care about Malfurion after Legion is beyond me, legit him and Tyrande should of been banished to the void never to return after that.

Hope so,it would clear up some stuff from legion. Like how Ysera appeared in the ulm realm after she died.
There is a 0% chance he is in it in any capacity. They “killed” him off at the beginning of the expac for a reason.
Normally I’m against them adding in any Night elf content because any time they do it is bad, but I’d support them adding a lot more of it to annoy you specifically.
If they do,then there is away to end both it 'll be impactful, tastefully done and dramatic and sensible but this story team always falls short from a good send off. It’s a rare form.
I like malfurion, wish we could have him back. Seems like a cheap move to throw him away to shine the light on Tyrande. Especially since she hasn’t done anything but get really mad and defeat Sylvanas’s lackey.

Fine by me just don’t get mad when they either lose the new tree, have something pointless happen to them equally as bad, get something else as bad as their heritage questline, etc. because legit you are just asking for that to happen by asking for this to happen.

I think it’d be hilarious if they lost the new tree immediately after getting it. If Blizzard played it straight and then added the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme to it.
I differ there, I might not be the biggest Night Elf fan but I feel Blizzard has written them so badly so many times in the last few xpacs that they should mostly just leave them alone for the time being because they just really seem to dislike the Night Elves and it shows.

Same with Broll and other druid characters. If they are showing up in the Emerald Dream so should Malfurion.
This is starting to become that Azshara Patch from BFA all over again.
